Get out on the water and challenge yourself and your friends with the GoFree Hooked fishing app. Host or compete in live-leaderboard style fishing tournaments, log fish-catch details and photos, and populate your Insight Genesis maps with pins marking the locations of the fish you catch - whether you hooked ‘em in your boat, a buddy’s boat or from the shore. You can even export your data for use in a compatible Lowrance or Simrad chartplotter.

Overlay Catches on Insight Genesis
Since the app uses your GoFree Account credentials, users have the capability to overlay catch details as a private layer on the Insight Genesis Social Map. Review this information on your computer screen, or take it with you as waypoints. If you want to take it to your chartplotter display, just save these waypoints from within your Insight Genesis account to an SD card and insert the card into your Lowrance or Simrad chartplotter.

I really wasn't expecting much being a beta version but it actually does everything it says. Only reason I didn't give 5stars is bc nobody ever uses the competition mode. I realize that it's not the App's fault but it's honestly the only reason I downloaded this App in the first place

Use 2 time both time it took more time to enter the fish and some how it lost the fish did not save photo to phone memory just use go tag if you want to remember where you caught fish would not install again

Doesn't open looks like a cool app if it worked. Looks like before it was updated it may have worked. Going to uninstall may try again later. Working now after update. Will try it out this weekend. Worked great after the update.

As a kayak fisherman I love to use this app and compete against my friends live on the water. Its so easy to use and a great way of recording your catches. Would be nice be able to keep a record of your lifetime catches and share to Facebook on future updates.

Love the App. I created a family fishing tournament. I wish it would also show your numbers in the competed category. I love it shows 1,2,3 Ect....... just show how far you are behind or ahead.

What a fun app! I have already taken advantage of 2 features that are absent on other fishing apps. First, I can host a live fishing competition against my son. Done. Second, I can download catch locations as waypoints over to my Lowrance finder. Boom and Boom. Great app. Will definitely use again!

I'm a fan of mapping with insight genesis and every time I log a catch with this app it dislays privately on my maps for patterning. I seem to catch fish in the same depth and proximate location to weeds. I'm eliminating dead water as a result.

Wouldn't even install on a Nexus 7 (2012) for some dumb reason and it wouldn't record a catch on my S3, it always showed zero catches no matter how many times I tried to enter a catch Beta is an understatement, this one needs to cook a bit longer before it's ready for Prime Time

The GPS had me all over the place, way on land, over in another lake, and apparently I traveled 35 miles in my kayak. Could possible be my phone but doubt it, especially since I use Waze daily and that works just fine. Another thing is it would be nice to have an option to change your camera to the one that faces you instead of just the back camera. Maybe I missed it, but it would also be nice to add friends. This is still the beta so I'm sure they will work on some improvements.

Its slow and unreliable. I wanted to do a tournament on it and it was not user friendly. Its a good idea but it wont work for a serious catch and release tournament not if theres money on the line.
