About Color Picker
Make a photo and detect the color of any touched point.
Show hex code, RGB values, RAL System code, and even the color name in the RAL system.
The application will show three results for each color:
✓ RGB: Amount of red, green and blue of the obtained color. This information is exact as is. Values are between 0 and 255.
✓ HEX: Amount of red, green and blue in hexadecimal. The colors are the same as in RGB but with base 16. This can be useful for web design and similar cases.
✓ Color name and RAL: The name and the RAL value does not match exactly with the obtained color. the RAL value shown is the nearest color in the euclidean color space. Therefore you can see a green or blue tone and get a name like "Gray". Please notice that this is not an error, but a consecuence of the approximation method.
Note also that the obtained color depends greatly of the current light and white balance of the camera.

Doesn't display hex values for me on smaller screens in portrait. It gets pushed down out of sight. Can see it fine in landscape and on bigger screens. Other than that it does a clean job.

I like the way colors are identified from a photo. So easy to see the variety of colors and their identity. I am so glad I found this. Hope to use it to make quilts representing places I go.

I like the UI, but the biggest shortcoming is in sharing the colour references to other apps, like email. Why is only hex reference copied and not RGB and RAL and perhaps the image of the colour too? It would make a good app great!

You can share your result to your clipboard or any other app, and it only shares the color code, which allows you an easy, fast, cut& paste. I was using a different app for years and this one is going to save me so much time. Thanks

After fiddling with it and looking at different pictures colours, I noticed that to select a new picture, you can't simply hit "back" to return to the gallery, instead it exits the app. For a new picture, you need to go back through the process of bringing up the gallery , selecting a file, selecting an app to view pictures and selecting the picture. If you have a lot of pictures, this is just too time consuming.

Very accurate & useful for everyday color picking.. Would give it a five star if it also provide complete color tables like pantone tables with its CMYK, RGB & Hex Codes..
