Learn Chinese Mandarin Madness

I believe this game is a good learning tool. Second game level makes me dizzy, though. I try to determine what word I'm looking at while its bouncing around turn this way and that. That may not be a problem for all people though.

How am I supposed to guess a number that I can't see? Memorizing a pattern without seeing the pinyin does NOT enforce visual learning, which is the keystone of your entire apppication, ergo rendering level 6 futile.

This game is great for beginners but I don't see it becoming very advanced learning just animals and numbers thus far but I haven't unlocked the higher levels yet so who knows?

Good app. Helps you learn basic vocab. Tests listening/ reading comprehension and provides some production practice with multiple choice games. Some of the games are a bit fast though. It would be nice to develop this app in order to practice real life conversations instead of just vocab.

I think that it would be helpful if the app could rate the pronunciation of the word to make sure we are saying it correctly.

when I got to level six on the animals, instead of Chinese characters falling, they were just question marks..

Very fun! You have to learn the characters on your own, but this is a good game for replacing flashcards. I guess this is more of a review game rather than a learning game. Very enjoyable, though!

I love that you don't use pinyin! I find it so much easier to learn the sounds and characters this way. Silent mode really helps with the characters too!

This is really good to learn a new language, I need to get the paid bersion though because this doesnt have many words

I was looking for a vocabulary builder that was challenging, informative and dynamic. I haven't found anything better, and this is very good indeed!

Helps u remember mandarin and is easy than a book to read out o. Each level is challenging and perfect.

This is a great game to help you learn! Except for how fast it moves towards the end of the levels. It gets to a point where you're more focused on trying to play the game and see what's coming more than you are actually learning. I wish there were more levels for free too...that'd be awesome. Great idea for learning either way.

I find myself learning .......i keep going back cuz its fun

It drills these characters and words into your head like the old teaching ways of repeat after me. It's just the same test but faster for 15 levels. I know my numbers (since 5yrs) and I couldn't react fast enough to get past level 13.

Works very well for reading,recognition, and listening. Writing a bit less but there is monkey write for that. :)

Fails to make sure that I really have one phase down before moving to the next one -- which puts the burden on me to actively "rewind" (not a seamless process at all) at times when the asp should have known not to proceed forward.

Great game, good for all ages I would guess. It is subliminal learning as well so should be good for starting kids with too.

Pick out the correct pictures before the Chinese characters for them fall to the bottom of the screen. A very fun way to study Mandarin.

Fun, easy to use & great way to learn mandarin chinese.

I've been looking for an app like this for a long time. The audio was choppy the first time I opened it (using Bluetooth), but I restarted the app and my headset and it hasn't had any further issues. Lots of fun and easy to use; I just with there was an option to use it without a time limit.

This app focuses on one thing and does it well. The audio is clear. The graphics are simple and pleasing to look at. Essentially, it's a flashcard like game with varying levels of speed and target learning. I like how it works both character recognition and listening skills. I will probably upgrade to the paid version when I complete this basic demo. I hope the developers are working on a second version that adds even more vocabulary and numbers. I'd like to learn about 500 words.

I like the app a lot however I feel it coukd be better.. FOR EXAMPLE when learning numbers for example and you're up to thestage where you can only hear the sound and has a "?" in the circle where the symbols usually are you should change the selection boxes down the bottom to display the symbols to match with the sound rather than the regular 1to 10 this would help a lot when learning the symbols. Also.. The third game where youhave to move the boxes needs instructions as it's confusing at the beginning BUT ALSO moving boxes needs to be implemented better when you move a box it shoukd switch places FOR EXAMPLE say the number sequence coming down is 1 2 3 4 and your box order that you move around is 1 4 3 2 if you pick up 2 and drop it where 4 is they shoukd swap places and it shoukd become 1 2 3 4 AS IT IS NOW If you oicked up 2 wnd dropped itwhere 4 is it would become 1 2 4 3 VERY ANNOYING WHEN YOU KNOW THE ORDER BUTHAVE TO MAKE EXTRA CHANGES BECAUSE BOXES ARE JUMPING AROUND WHEN YOU MOVE ONE TO ITS CORRECT LOCATION!! Apart from that I love the app :)

The speed eventually goes too fast...my brain shuts off under pressure

This app is very good, a few minor issues with getting blank page occasionally otherwise works well and easy learning while playing.

I love this game. Very easy to pick up Mandarin and fun learning. So addictive.
