NAS 2016

The National Autistic Society's Professional Conference 2016 is taking place on 1st - 2nd March at the Telford International Centre.

With yet another year of cutbacks in funding and resources, we wanted to focus on the positive work being done to improve the lives of people on the autism spectrum. We are also excited about all the new ways in which attitudes and thinking about autism are being challenged – both in campaigns such as the Justice for LB Bill and also in new research and practices which overturn traditional views and prejudices. That is why the theme for the conference this year is Exploring new thinking and approaches.

Our experts on the Editorial Board have worked hard to develop yet another outstanding programme, drawing together examples of best practice across the different sectors. Keynote sessions given by top international and UK speakers will present an overview of the changing autism environment. Plus, our series of expert seminars will provide you with practical strategies to implement with your colleagues.

The app provides delegates with a handheld guide to the event, including functionality that will allow delegates to network and access all the information about the conference.
