I still receive push notifications even when I have turned them off, what it is unacceptable. Please fix it, I like the app and I don't want to uninstall it for that. Thank You

Maker amino is a really well thought out, well executed well refined attempt at a community of people who just like to make things. There are feature across the board from chatrooms, to progress blogs, to a category system. And it's free. Of you have heard of this app, I would highly recommend getting it because, it's really serving special.

How the hell do I turn off notifications? Someone new is following me every minute. I don't care and don't need to know. Why is there no settings? I'm refusing to take this app, or any of its sister apps, seriously until I can stop the notifications. And find a better way for people to find others they will actually want to follow.

I love maker. It's great for everyone looking to connect with fellow craftsmen to discuss ideas, get advice, and see cool projects. The only thing I don't like is the lack of content, and that is sure to change over time.

The only reason people are complaining about the notifications is because when you sign up there is a page of all the users and the page prompts you to follow people you know. There option to follow everybody and if you do the app will notify you when anyone posts anything, thats alot of notifications! Instead follow the people you want and then tap the x in the top corner, that will fix the problem! This app is awesome!

Maker seems to be the coolest of the Amino apps. The Amino interface in general is overwhelming and complicated. Already been inspired though, looking forward to improvements.

Basically forced to follow others as it asks everytime I go in to follow new people. I really don't understand why bother implementing following when everyone follows everyone? Content is extremely low but that can be forgiven considering it's new. Interface is stupidly complicated. Really really poor layout. Having to setup an account to even look at the content is going to really cut down on DIYers who will view your content. Not many people actually want to sign up and most are just lurkers.

I was like...the first to download it. Can't wait for the others hehe.
