RealDash is a customizable virtual dashboard, datalogging and performance meter application.

RealDash can connect to vehicle ECU with USB cable or with Bluetooth or WiFi adapter. When connecting to OBD2 port search for ELM327 bluetooth or WiFi adapters, which are widely available and inexpensive.
RealDash can be used without connection to ECU. Then a GPS and device internal sensors are available for:
★ Vehicle speed.
★ Your current location on map.
★ Current speed limit.
★ Lap timer.
★ Acceleration info.
★ Performance measurements (with limited accuracy).
This software has been tested with multiple OBD2 adapters, but your specific adapter/vehicle combination may not work. If you like this app, but it doesn't work for you, or is missing an important feature, let us know before writing poor review. We will immediately fix any problems you may have.

Being customisable really does it for me, like the way it works and how I can choose what inputs from my Ecu I can show. The only thing thing that would make it better is being able to integrate navigation like Google maps into it. So could see the router I want to take as well as everything else. Cheers

Preliminary rated this app because of the developer's effort. I like how it lets you configure your own dashboards. The last update improved my Bluetooth connectivity with the generic adapter in my E36.

4 stars only because I can't see what's playing in music and no pause or previous buttons if you can add these buttons I am not playing through Spotify but the internal music player of the device, songs are stored in internal storage. Finally if you can add support for climate control, air con off/on heating controls etc. This will be great.

Been looking for a way to make my own gauge cluster for my megasquirt powered Nova. I have tried the app on four vehicles. A 2008 chevy 1500 van, the Nova, a 2000 7.3L F250, and a 1997 7.3L F350. I had 0 success with the two F series trucks, though I also haven't reached out for help from the developer.

[Re-edit] After issues with the internal GPS being disabled and technical support working with me to fix the issue, i think the app is now working.

Good to see the navigation and music information along with ECU data. Wish this had integration with Poweramp and quick launch / switch to Android auto or google assistant shortcut. It will be good to have some swipe gesture to move to Android Auto or Music player
