My Home StarLink App for Android
It doesn't seem to know whether my alarm system is armed or not. If I manually arm the system, then call up the app to check status, it indicates the system is disarmed. Then when I tell the app to arm it, it indicates the alarm is now armed, but actually disarms it. So it really doesn't communicate with the alarm system in any reliable fashion. Not just misleading -- dangerous.
Pretty sad I can not arm my alarm. Moody app works when it wants to. Says armed when its really not armed. Now its not working at all.
Please fix the connecting issue. Installed 2 weeks ago and have not been able to arm/disarm from my android device since installed.
Not smart. Won't let me type in an alpha numeric password. Never in touch with my alarm status.
Keep getting -unable to perform function message. It does not work.
As a NAPCO partner, I wish to see improvements on this app for current and potential customers.
Needs way more features and logs.

I've had this app for 6 weeks. The concept is great, but I've had erroneous indications, connect issues and most annoying the setup page defaults to the first block of info which is the account number. The icon goes to the setup page and if you get there unintentionally it can add numbers or wipe out the account number completely rendering the system disabled. It's happened to me 3 times so far in 6 weeks. The app needs more positive control before changing or deleting account info.
There's no way to specify what type of arming, bypass or instant. The interface is clunky.
Needs way more features and logs.
I wish you could choose stay or away mode, and would be really cool to get alerts when it goes off.
Works great for me
Much better than previous version. Works well on Samsung phone and LG tablet.

As nice as it was to be able to control the arm/disarm, it seemed to drain my battery like crazy.

As long as you want constant frustration, this is a fine app. It constantly reports it cannot connect to the device. Alarm company claims it is the apps problem. Need to find a solution that actually works.
