Namo PubtreeViewer (EPUB3 / 2) for Android
I have a very specific set of requirements when it comes to ebook readers. It needs to be recognised by Calibre Companion, a library program, and open directly a book passed to it by that application. Secondly, it needs to exit cleanly back to the calling program. Finally, it needs to feature a decent epub implementation. Oh, and it needs to do all this quickly and without fuss. Namo's Pubtree does all this very nicely. It has, for the moment, replaced Cool Reader / FB Reader / Skoob for this purpose. While I haven't run through the Epub 2.0 and Epub 3.0 testing documents, comparing books on Pubtree and iBooks show great commonality, which I deem to be a good thing, given that for Epub 2 at least, it seems to be the gold standard. If there is a complaint I have but two at present. While I appreciate the necessity of the startup screen, when invoking the read from Calibre Companion it would nice if I didn't see it, purely for the purposes of integration. Also, opening a new book for the first time is a little slow, though I have certainly encountered slower than this. In summary, a very nicely executed application well suited to my purpose.
This is the *only* reader which would correctly render all the elements of a complicated epub3 of "Indonesia Etc." by Elizabeth Pisani. Videos, slideshows, audio, supporting documents, pictures. All of it. Thanks for a great job. It's the only reader which has dealt correctly with a book optimized for iPad. Only complaint is that page turns can be a little slow when compared to other readers.
Very good support of the fixed layout ePub: XHTML with JPG/PNG bitmap images and also XHTML with SVG bitmap and vector images.
Says it's an option but I could not find a way to enable it. Maybe not supported epub3?
great job guys , kudos to your team , render prettywell ,NEED a small changes like AUTO SCROLL LIKE IN MOON+ READER , THANKS A LOT FOR MAKING SUCH AN AWESOME APP , WISHING YOU MOST AND MORE
Similar with Roxio mediabook reader but more innovative and cool.
Works very well on both the Galaxy Note 2 phone and 10.1 tablet. Rendered all my ePub 3 publications correctly. Highly recommended. Just some suggestions: 1. Add simple page animation option like sliding when turning from page to page. 2. Add support for Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 8.1 (Metro).
Similar with Roxio mediabook reader but more innovative and cool.

Great app! I use it on a Samsung phone and Asus memo pad. It handles books with audio files really well but it seems to have problems with video. I would happily pay for an improved version that incorporates video better. Great work all the same!
