I would prefer my list to stay with me and not on someone's server.

Barring my inability to find this option if it exists: the Namminik app *really* needs to let us select a picture from the gallery to associate with our items. Being forced to take pictures straight when we're entering items is annoying for those of us who prefer to list most of a room from memory, take all the pictures afterwards, rinse and repeat.
