About BMTC Transit
BMTC Transit is an application for Bengaluru (Karnataka, India) based bus commuters to help them find Bus routes, Plan their trip and many more. This is an offline search app to get BMTC related info even when there is no active internet connection.
Key features of the app are as follows:
1. Complete Offline Searching. No gprs or WiFi connection is required. You can search a route any where any time.
2. Searches nearest bus stops to you based on your current location. Clicking on the Map Marker will give you directions to reach the Bus stop.
3. Provides a very intuitive UI. Since the application is targeted to both technical and non-technical users, the simplified UI is key requirement.
4. Trip planner helps in finding both Direct and Transit routes.
5. BMTC Directory gives info about all the bus routes available under 4 different category i.e, General, AC, Special and Airport Services.
6. Bus Images shows you how your bus actually looks like. This is added to help non-Bangaloreans to find their bus easily.

Wen I search buses from To open a agrahara to jigani industrial bus stop .. It shows no buses (in direct) but there are direct buses & I use to travel , instead in transist, it shows complicated results.. But in google maps I have been able to track. All I wanted to check correct bus no. & timings throughout the day.. So disappointed that m wasting my time to feedback so that others won't waste time.

I wish there was a search between two stops. And I don't think it's difficult to implement, since you guys have already done wonders. It will be the best possible solution especially for people from outside bangalore. Route numbers are hard to guess, instead a search can suggest the buses that go between the two stops.

You would no longer be able to see the bus timining on each stop...it was available earlier..seems that have removed it since the actual bus timing always differs...such a shame

** no one takes care to update the info.. The pass price have been hiked but it still shows 65/- ** there is no scroll bar to scroll up and down ** good part is offline data available

Don't rely on this app. In fact, no app provides you with authenticated info. Hope BMTC releases one and so does KSRTC.

Since this is an offline app, wouldn't the accuracy of the data be compromised? Even though new routes may not be added very often, fares keep updating. Could be better if the data base updates once in a week or month.

Everything is awesome. One thing can be added..... in "Bus Stops" tab timing of approach can be added. This will make it more simple to use. Far far far better than official app......
