Only let's you search for domains. No management functionality. Edit: responded to comment but was pushed to generic support. Looks like the add year bug is still present.

I don't know the reason for this app. I can not register a new domain. What is the point? And the website is equally bad. How can this company survive?

All you can do is register domains and renew them, that's it. Can't change DNS settings, anything at all. Useless. Edit: Namecheap replied and claimed they've "fixed" my issue of the fact the app has no ability to actually administrate it. That was not the case at all. Changed from 2 stars to 1 star for that clearly copy paste response.

The app has an issue where it originally doesn't allow to manage whois and dns information, as seen in the pictures on the app page, but you first need to "add a year" to your domain, then cancel out of that to be able to change the dns and whois info. It's a relatively small bug, but seemingly removes all functionality from the app. This should fix the issues of other commenters, and if any more explanation is needed, please just ask.

This app does what it's supposed to. But a nice addition to it would be requesting the SMS permission to get the 2FA code automatically. Proper 2FA support through an authentication app is desperately needed as well. This app should be able to act as an authenticator app, and allow you to allow or deny login attempts with a touch.

Website is more useful. Domain search is ugly. Show prices next to domain please. P.s. now you sent me email like a "try again". But nothing what i posted is fixed. You just sent me spam. Ok will add you another one 1 star

I gave this a five at first. Now the app is worse than ever. Really sucks. I stick with the website. If its not broken. Dont fix it

FIX THE ERRORS PLEASE -- Okay so I can't order anything after a prolonged trial and error. I have been trying this since yesterday. First my card gets declined. My bank says everything is fine though. I do everything from clearing the cookies from even using a different computer. I waste five hours just to get an internal error. It looks like your site is in shambles. You have to fix it - you are loosing potential customers here. Please fix it soon.

I have no idea what these peoole are on. I have about 20 domains with namecheap and just finally downloaded the app to update one of my newly purchased ones' DNS/NS. 40 seconds for the whole process. Domain is propogated already just as it always is.

Disappointed with the app. I can ONLY search for domain name, register and renew. That's not good at all. Namecheap, you can do far better than this. Now I have to go back to my browser.

Even after alleged bugfixes all I ever get is a search option to buy new domains. If i click on anything else i get an error message about not finding pending transfers. Totally useless. Still true after another update.

This app does not work, which is a shame since I need to research and buy domains on a rather frequent basis and would prefer NOT to use GoDaddy. Everytime I try to search for a domain, it says the service is unavailable. In other words, having this app on my phone is pointless. Shame.

I couldn't make a payment or purchase new domain registrations and had to go find a browser. The name search functionality appears to get throttled, but there's no message that's happening....

Way to go! Has very basic features, shouldn't have related it yet, can't even manage dns entries. Uninstalling.

Can only register new domains or add years to existing registrations. Can not easily find where to manage DNS, even after logging in. I appreciate the simplicity of the app but what's the point in downloading if I get more from the mobile website?

I logged in just fine. I am able to make changes to my domain names. I am also able to search for and purchase new domain names. Using an LGv20 on the AT&T network. App does it's job with ease of use at the forefront.

Change the name of the app to shitcheap. Extremely stupid app, can't even search or do anything on this app.

Update: Namecheap fixed app within 15 minutes. Still cannot access domain settings, for some reason.

Was wary about trying this app from the recent reviews but went for it anyway, and although the app doesn't totally reflect what you see in the web portal for advanced dns config, it seems to be ok for the job. I didn't actually change or add any records using the app so imagine my surprise when i see it had deleted my dynamic dns entry in the web portal and moved it to standard A record! Some work to do yet I think...

I can't log in. After endlessly clicking on captcha images, it says my username and or password are incorrect, but they come from 1password the same as on computer which works. Only thing I can imagine is that it doesn't know how to handle 2fa being set up already. Anyway, after all that I read the other reviews and realize it does very little anyway, so I'm bailing.

very bad. domain list is not displayed on app dashboard. on domain renew it provides domain i picked plus random other domain i own which doesnt need a renew. on paying with paypal i didnt get any indicator that payment was successful.

Useless, very poorly made app. Unable to login. Had to enter my username/pw twice, solve 3 captchas, to get to an error 500.

I don't know what the fuss is all about. As far as I know, namecheap is a really good device provider. Especially there FreeDNS. Its fast and reliable.

Can't purchase a new domain. Checkout is just plain broke. All app is really good for is looking at domains you own.

Useless, it's good for checking domain prices and that's it. All the other functions don't work consistently or aren't available. Don't use this for anything other than checking availability.

Good but need cpanel access like godaddy app. At least advanced dns edit. However it's good and time saver

Fast way to check or change something but I still prefer browser dashboard.
