আয়াতুল কুরসি ও এর ফজিলত

আয়াতুল কুরসী (আরবি: آية الكرسي ‎) হচ্ছে পবিত্র কোরআন শরীফের দ্বিতীয় সুরা আল বাকারার ২৫৫তম আয়াত। এটি কোরআন শরীফের সবচেয়ে প্রসিদ্ধ আয়াত এবং ইসলামিক বিশ্বে এটি ব্যাপকভাবে মুখস্ত করা হয়। এতে সমগ্র মহাবিশ্বের উপর আল্লাহর জোরালো ক্ষমতার কথা বর্ণনা করে। যা সমগ্র কুরআনের সবচেয়ে বড় আয়াতও বটে। এ সূরার রয়েছে অনেক ফজিলত। এর ফজিলত সম্পর্কে রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম হযরত ওবাই ইবনে কা’বকে জিজ্ঞাস করলেন সবচেয়ে ফজিলত ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আয়াত কোনটি? ওবাই ইবনে কা’ব আরজ করলেন, সেটি হচ্ছে আয়াতুল কুরসি। রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম তা সমর্থন করলেন এবং বললেন, হে আবুল মানজার! তোমাকে এ উত্তম জ্ঞানের জন্য ধন্যবাদ। (মুসনাদে আহমদ) Kursi (Arabic: آية الكرسي) is the 55 th verse of the Holy Quran in the second Surah al-Baqarah.
