About NAD Remote

The NAD Remote App transforms your smartphone or tablet into a powerful controller for app enabled products, including select NAD hi-fi amplifiers and digital music streamers. Reinventing the traditional NAD remote control with an intuitive user interface, and the ability to wirelessly control your NAD connected products, the NAD Remote App for Android uses your local network and Bluetooth to control and adjust functions like power, volume, source selection and device settings. The latest Android version supports the NAD D 7050 and C 338 via your local network and the NAD C 368 and C 388 via Bluetooth.

Official release works much better with my NAD C 338 Integrated Amp for power, volume, source, and standby settings (no more lag and lost connection). Adding the ability to play music gapless from a Network Server (as this amp has UPnP) would make it perfect...currently I use HiFi Cast third party app as a workaround for casting music from my NAS to the NAD with gapless playback. Thx

Good app but there are some issues using it with my NAD C338: 1. The Bass Eq switch in the app doesn't work (only shows the setting). 2. When I switch input from WifiBt to Optical 2 using app there is a loud hiss noise in the speakers until I change the the volume. This happens only with Optical 2. 3. NAD C338 doesn't need Bluetooth for the app to work, please remove the permanent popup in app that informs that BT is required for some devices (show it only one after install or allow it to be disabled). Hope these will be fixed in the next release.

Love my D7050, and this app works well with it.

After working with a developer from NAD the application works excellent with my D7050! It does lack some specific features that I require the older app for but is far better.

This new update works out-of-the-box fluently and quickly with my D7050. The connection is quick app feels easy to use. I also received great support from customer service, they helped to get the old version working! Still missing new features over the previous D7050 control app, maybe in a future release :-)

Good concept NAD. Needs improvements around UI and connection stability. Also would be great if you could drive FW updates through this as opposed to the inconvenient USB dongle.

Works well with my newly arrived C338! Future proof machine! Will there be a balance/equalizer function available in the future?

Now neither nad remote app works with my 7050...

After a few emails back and forth, I finally have this working with my D7050 --> come to find out the current version will only find your D7050 if it still has the default AirPlay name assigned to it. The AWESOME team over at NAD's development house provided me a copy of the new Beta for the app --> once installed it found and connected to my amp without a hitch! I have to compliment the outstanding customer service from this team, they were all over helping troubleshoot the issue and getting a resolution to me EXTREMELY quickly. Still not completely happy with the interface, but it does look better than the old NAD D7050 Remote App and it provides me the controls that I need!

Please add a 10 band hi-fi Equalizer, so that one does not have to use 3rd party apps on Bluetooth mode. Btw. Works on my D7050 both on bt and wifi at note 4. However, keeps on asking for bt permissions. And it only works once the bt is on and amp detected (a bug) . Then when I switch bt off, I can still control the amp via WiFi. It should detect the amp via WiFi without the need for bt. Also: keeps on crushing on my Galaxy sm-t530 tablet and cannot find the amp.

Could have been so great, but this sorry effort is pretty pointless. Doesn't even have play and skip buttons.

No D7050 connection. From which firmware version does this app work?

Finicky app for a finicky amp. First clue was a Bluetooth rather than a wireless configuration. My fault for buying the wrong amp.

I have been waiting for this app to control my NAD C368. It was well worth the wait. Great job developers!
