NAD D 7050 for Android
The app hasn't been updated since Jan 2014 and it shows. NAD, please start maintaining this app.
This app worked for a month or 2 and then stopped working. The normal remote is also really bad. At least the amp is sounding great, the best i have ever heard.
Waste of time. Freezes, crashes and can not recognize the 7050 amp.The IOS version on my iPad is working fine. How about fixing the android app!
NAD needs to get their software act together. This app has been abandoned, not updated since 2014. It should be removed from the app store.
Does Not Work with Nougat. Needs to be updated. For the price of the amp, NAD should get this working properly or at all in the case of Nougat.
Useless app. Crap interface.
Nad so lame, im gona sell the damn amp!!!!
Stopped working on android nougat :(
Constantly crashes.
App crashes all the time. Quite often have to unplug the amp to get it to connect again. Would also be great if you could remove the demo unit and just set it to default to one. UI is not nice, but when it works it works OK. It's a shame because the remote that comes with the unit is so bad it's unusable - great sounding amp though!
Does not recognise my NAD 7050. Always says "Connection Error". And the demo unit thing is totally useless. Poorly thought out. Obviously little effort put into it.
Upon first startup every day, this app crashes. I then start it once more, and it works. Extremely annoying.
It always disconnect, would be very nice to see an update to fix the problem. With a digital amplifier at this price it should be perfect...
Started off great and gradually got worse and worse.......and havent been able to connect for some time now.
Someone should fix it, d7050 is not just another product
Run, crash, run, only using 4.3... Such a shame really the 7050 is such a good product.
Crashes very often.
Spend thousands on NAD gear and get a free .02 cent app. It can't even 'discover' the gear. A waste of time, everytime I try to use it. Frustrating as there has never been an update!
While the functionalty of the app is ok, the layout is clunky, meaning you have to go back and forth to the menu to accomplish a lot of tasks. There's also no macros, so you can do things like 'switch to optical 2 and set volume to -20dB'. There is also no EQ/tone/room adjustment controls etc., save for the PitchPerfect (marketing ploy) for a couple of their sister brand's (PSB) speakers. On top of the clunky usability and limited functionality, it also frequently crashes. All in all a wasted opportunity.

Won't discover my unit, only shows something called Demo Unit. Both phone and amplifier are on same network.
I have to unplug and replug the amp in order to make it detectable every time I open the app. And when I exit the app and re-enter it again, the amp will disappear! This is very frustrating!

It's a 'no frills' app to be sure but, apart from the occasional crash (which I suspect has a lot to do with my phone's limited RAM), it's always worked pretty well for me. No trouble finding the NAD D7050 on my home Wi-Fi network, & settings are saved to the D7050 after each app connection. And the sound of the D7050? Simply glorious!
