What are users saying about MSP N-central Mobile

T70%
by T####:

"Remember me" shouldn't remember password. That's too dangerous!

B70%
by B####:

This app is really nice. great work devs

L70%
by L####:

Seems to work okay if 2FA is disabled, but why choose lower security just to use this on a mobile device? Would be nice if they baked 2FA support in. Till this happens, app is fairly useless

T70%
by T####:

Recent update corrected issue I was having with logging in. I like the new app. Incredibly more functional than the previous version. Ability to connect remotely to customer devices is great.

F70%
by F####:

Way better since the update. Get 2fa done. Like yesterday.

T70%
by T####:

Logged a support call with solar wind. They updated the app, no longer get the two factor auth error. Good app

T70%
by T####:

2FA is a minimum requirement. C'mon...

S70%
by S####:

Doesn't work with 2fa, so it's useless

S70%
by S####:

Doesn't work with 2fa enabled accounts, so not useful at all.

Z70%
by Z####:

Stopped working with 2 factor authentication. Useless now

T70%
by T####:

Come on guys 2fa is a big bonus of the n central system. Get it in this app please :(

M70%
by M####:

Why does the app not support 2FA? Kind of important, Solarwinds...

T70%
by T####:

Looks great but can't use because of 2fa

T70%
by T####:

Can't log in, doesn't support 2fa

T70%
by T####:

I could never log in. The app crashes every time i try to log in.

B70%
by B####:

The new version is MUCH better than the old version. My only complaint is that it still seems to crash semi-regularly.

T70%
by T####:

Excellent app, but requires two-factor authentication asap.

T70%
by T####:

Much better than the old version by a long shot. However need to allow 2FA please

S70%
by S####:

Better than the previous version, but I would like to be able to have it remember server and username WITHOUT saving the password as well. Basic security on the remote control software, PLEASE!

R70%
by R####:

Unable to login to N-central. Use to be able to login before the update

T70%
by T####:

Upgrade finally here. It will feel like 5 stars compared to the old, but room for improvement like 2FA and running any Amp in the library.

T70%
by T####:

Was nice after the first update but now not able to login anymore after second update

B70%
by B####:

Has been waiting for this far too long. Now I really do monitoring on the go.

V70%
by V####:

Better than the earlier version.

T70%
by T####:

Much better then the (extremely ugly original version), but if it doesn't do what can be done from a web browser then there is still room for improvement.

T70%
by T####:

After all these years finally an update. I am so glad that they add remote control. Million times better than before it's a great start.

T70%
by T####:

No MFA support even with the update, unusable by my org. No plans to fix this anytime soon when I reached out to the devs.

X70%
by X####:

New updated version is much better.

T70%
by T####:

This new version is awesome! Has remote connection support now.

T70%
by T####:

Pointless. Doesn't do anything, except display a list of issues, and let me acknowledge them. Can't view any device properties. Can't remote control anything. Can't even view the list of devices. Given the, also, absolutely useless API documentation, for N-Central web services connections, is the problem, that no one, at N-Able knows how your own product works, anymore? (Did you guys outsource development, or something?)

T70%
by T####:

Great example of abandonware. The interface looks about 5 years past the point it looked ridiculously out of date, and there is almost no way I would choose to use it for any actual Admin tasks.

L70%
by L####:

Believe the other reviews. Whatever this app says it do, it can't. All this is good for is looking at alerts. I mean you cannot switch views to look at devices, you know, like you see in the screenshots above - that doesn't exist. Even then, you can not interact with the alerts in any way. The app hasn't been updated in 9 months so that shows you how little they care about this app.

T70%
by T####:

This is terrible, it'd be easier to use the desktop website on my phone.

A70%
by A####:

this app is a lie. you cannot remote or do any administration work. you can ONLY acknowledge issues. that's it.

T70%
by T####:

Please give this app some love with a rewrite. Limited remote access such as ability to reboot, see CPU/ram/HDD usage, maybe access to tasks and services. That would go miles toward making this app actually useful.

T70%
by T####:

I thought I'd be able to manage devices. Nope, can only see that there are issues. Needs a major rewrite.

T70%
by T####:

Barely does what I need. I basically only use it when I'm on call and need to see if servers are offline with a pre-made template. Otherwise, this needs a huge overhaul.

D70%
by D####:

This thing needs a major update. The newest version crashes while opening, logging in, running tasks, applying filters, refreshing, or even selecting a device. It seems like there is a 20% chance that whatever you are doing, it is going to cause the app to crash. Difficult interface. Quirky bugs. Performance does seem to be better in this version, but I still have no idea why they are displaying scan and transition times in different formats. Come on devs: GMT or local time. Pick one. Really makes mobile management difficult.

K70%
by K####:

This is my one major issue with n-central is the lack of a solid mobile app. Its only marginally better than labtechs offering on the Android platform. Please update

O70%
by O####:

Guys.. really.. you can't even put a device into downtime?
