SecretVaultpro(free) for Android
SecretVaultpro create an encrypted file and mount as a folder in your "/sdcard" folder. You can move sensitive docs, photos to SecretVaultpro folders/subfolders with your favorite file manager. SecretVaultpro unmount itself as a single encrypted file when you closed it.
Have you ever worried about your sensitive documents when you lost your mobile devices?
Note: As per many request, a non ads support SecretVaultpro is now available with the ability to import Xml. Network access permission is no longer required to retrieve ads plus new NG engine for up to 5 times encryption performance!
If you like SecretVaultpro and want to buy me a beer please support me by purchasing the paid version.
If you found bug on the app, please send me email so I can have it fix and not post problem as feedback. I might not see it that way.

truecrypt for android. best!!! I wish automatic close-lock settings :)
I was looking for something similar to FreeOtfe4PDA. This thing is ridiculous. Every time you open/close the "vault" you need to go thru the whole encryption/decryption process and takes forever. Maybe it works for small files like text but not for bigger files. De-installing...
Worked great for a while, now it won't let me open the vault. Un/reinstall didnt work, lost pics that cant be retaken. Junk.
Takes long time to encrypt/decrypt. Thumbnail still visible in Gallery after file is encrypted. Closing app will NOT close vault. Uninstalling.
Security app like this cannot be trusted if it has full network access! Pitty, it has potential.
Testing.the idea is five stars.hope its stable.so far it is.
This is an app ideal for saving any kind of file. I was looking around and just found apps for saving texts, images, etc. This saves any sort of data and works great, also is very stable
Good idea, poor execution. Takes too long to encrypt large files. Uninstalling until a better solution is available.
Useless can't even see the picture even when i open the vault . Uninstalled.
The button suddenly keeps saying "close vault" so I can't open it anymore :-(
Aweful. Would stop encryption/decryption at will and random. Takes forever to encrypt/decrypt-small or large "container". Wouldn't decrypt!!!!!!!!!!!!
drkdvh - read up on some crypto, encryption isn't like the speed of light, mobile phone power is limited. Otherwise, its a good beginning program.
You are one a great way mate!
Chinese filename lost after decryption.
Used it for a day so far, and I think it is a GREAT app. Works good and fast for my documents. Big thanks to the dev!
So far this app is stable, I have encrypted and decrypted the same vault multiple times, and do far it has done what it says. Good app. Recommended.
** WARNING ** Couldn't open file... lost all data! DON'T TRY THIS PIECE OF SH*T!
It does nothing.
Just does what I want. I can take the same files of my important stuff and save them on different platforms
I only miss the auto-close-the-vault-after-xxx-minutes feature. Otherwise it's the best.
great app. side notes: can we install an application to the encrypted volume? and, why is truecrypt not available for android? thanks
After installing ran once and tablet froze. In the end only way to get it back was factory reset. Tried all options. Never had any problem previously. Tried to uninstall and trashed my operating system, 3 weeks in the shop being reconfigured. Stay away.(SAMSUNG TAB 3)
After closing the vault. The gallery keep traces of images video trace kept in vault without clearing immediately Only updating Media Scan can reset the thumbview Takes hell time to open and close for huge container I switched to EDS
Works great for my use, but it could be faster when closing and opening the vault. Also, I was wonderring if it was possible to get it to windows, so I may decrypt the vault on my computer if I wanted to. But all in all, 5 stars :)
Container opened empty on my nexus 7. All my data was just gone. Some file I/o naming errors cause this error and you'll lose your files. Nice idea but implementation and resource control is flawed. Maybe wait for Dev to fix this junk.
Never had any problem with it. But nothing is secure if you forget to close it. I wish it could optionally automatically encrypt after X hours so its always secure after use.
The app keeps my sensitive files safe. Been using for almost 2 years. Now that the passwords can be exported, totally worth the cost for the full version.
If your vault gets very big, encrypt/decrypt takes too long.
Works well. Needs auto close function
Good enough for my purposes
A storage encryption, a password manager, a encrypted notepad. Bug fixes for V2.3, try it!
toooo damn slow.... 20 minutes to open or close a 150 MB Vault. it does not mount the encrypted file as a SD... what it does is Every time you open the vault to read ONE file... it extracts ALL your files before you can have access. then you "close" the Vault.... 20 minutes to close. bye bye SecretVaultpro you will waste my time no more.
Great idea! Works well for little files, does not work for large files. I can not speak for the encryption as I have not tried to break it as of yet
This app is pure garbage. Bugs wouldn't let me decrypt my files lost forever now. Thx alot. No email response for help from developer.
Great idea, but encrypted files are recoverable in original location! It should work like Truecrypt or FreeOTFE on PC, but it doesn't work like that:(
Was alright at first. Was slow on Galaxy S. After recent update, can't open vault. Unable to decrypt. Takes forever then stops.
The main issues are that the password seems to be required with every field that swype uses to enter texteven successful validation of it the first tm
Seemed great at first but during the course of the it took my pics and now I can't get them back and of course they ardent backed up. I almost paid.
I am VERY impressed! Great app! Tried a lot & this is the best. 1 more star if you can customize destination folder of encrypted file.

All this app does is the same as if you had a folder in a big zip file (w/password), and when you "open" it unzips everything and then when you "close" it zips it back up. Problem is, the data is unencrypted sitting there and vuln to forensic recovery!! NOT like truecrypt, where data is always encrypted on disk...
