SMS Texting from Tablet & Sync

it would be nice if the contacts synced included the name, the whole point of listing by name is i dont have to remember the number. kind of a bummer i cant dial out from my tablet using my phone for signal and talking through my tablet or computer. both are set up to with mic and speakers. i dont see the benefit dialing from my tab then picking up or using speaker. there really is no benefit as i have an app i can call for free. this is good for text only. unsubscribe 4 me. text perfect/looks great☆☆☆☆☆

Worked great to start with while i was checking it out, then messages on Windows 10 App stopped syncing so i uninstalled to reinstall and now the app won't install - store thinks its installed already but its not. When i tried supoort there is no solution for my problem and apparently i need to pay to be a premium user before i can get any response to my issue. If the free version doesnt work, and doesn't have support, this is not an incentive to pay for the app?!? Android tablet app works well so far....

Installed the app on my tablet and Android phone as directed. The sync that initially happened was phone numbers only, all 400 in my contact database. But after rebooting the tablet the next day the contact names were there. Don't know why but its all good now. I like the fact that the tablet rings are ringtone when i get a text on my phone. So far looks really neat!

This is the best messaging app I've found, I have been using it for over 2 years now. You can send and receive messages on both your phone & your tablet. The best feature in my opinion is the ability to schedule text messages for a later time. The app will even "forward" calls to your tablet if you want!

At one point about 8 months ago, I actually uninstalled this app due to inconsistent synching and performance. Decided to try again recently and I am glad I did! Much improved and I now find it to be completely solid and dependable. Exactly what I need for both personal and business communication across all of my devices. Highly recommended.

Notifications do not appear on the task bar when using your tablet. In other words, when texts come in you have no way of knowing unless you're constantly returning to the app to check. Ridiculously ineffective. No way to have this issue addressed unless you pay for tech support. Yes. You need to pay money to receive any type of basic tech support.

Actually not a bad app. I was satisfied with performance then I noticed every 15 to 20 messages "sent via mysms" would pop up at the end of my messages and there is no way to turn it off. Other than that best texting app for syncing tablet with phone. Comparable to MightyText if not better.

Hate it now. Going to Uninstaller now UPDATE: now works sometimes but not as solid as the original version that I loved. Would gladly purchase a one time license but never a monthly or yearly. If it was constantly working .

Nexus 9 & Nexus 6. Double texts to the Nexus 9 majority of the time. Love this program. Wanted to pay for it to support the coders, but not with a major bug present. Contacted support 6 days ago. No reply except for automated reply acknowledge receipt of my message. I realize this is a small organization, but still, not acceptable. Uninstalling.

Syncs on all platforms and even has an add-in for google chrome!! Only minor gripe is the contacts need to be manually refreshed when another phone contact is added. Could I suggest some sync option which will do it automatically if a new contact is added, or an option to sync with gmail contacts.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 8" tablet Wi-Fi only and I have been looking for something that would let me send text messages to phones. This seems to be working perfectly. Just what I was looking for. I can send a text message to my boyfriends Motorola MOTO.

I used it on my tablet. It didn't always parallel the SMS on my phone, and then one day stopped working. Everything sent would fail. I've stopped using it.

Overall the app is very useful. Love that I get my messages on my desktop and I have my full keyboard to type my replies. For the last two weeks there's been a glitch. All outbound messages are tagged as "draft" but have actually been sent. Distracting but not actually a problem.

I really like this app. It's simple. If I get a text or phone call it lets me know so I don't miss anything. The best part is I can reply to texts from my tablet, which is really convenient.

Overall, Good App! While I diagnose why SMS/phone calls are not pushed to my tablet as before, please note that the SMS Reply box rows are so limited (Only 2 Rows) that one must scroll up and down to verify text before sending. Please double the default rows seen in the reply textbox. (Even better, make it an editable user setting )

Does not synch new contacts added in the address book. This problem has been around for a while. Developer needs to add a SYNCH button so that synchronisation can be forced. Works great otherwise.

This is a nice application but there is no way to mark all as read or to select all for delete and there's no way to turn off the scrolling notification. In other words it's missing some really basic features and that's a shame

I like it...I have it sync with my tablet and phone together also my computer but I don't use it that much on the computer...but I like it just wish it didn't send the link when I'm texting people every other text or so...that's annoying too me and the person that is receiving the text. Other than that I give it 4 stars!

Simple although very functional. Have written prior reviews of positive agreement. Have used other apps and have always returned. total satifisfaction with this product. The $ upgrade is worth it for the additional features if you are more than a simple messenger without attachments or desired desktop features. Not an Actor or Professional who may be considered "not a person". That is all!

All of my messages stopped on March 6. Nothing new will load, what's the point in having this year subscription if it doesn't even work

I was thinking of getting a tablet with phone capabilities for hundreds but this does all I need. The texting is seamless once set up and the system works well. You do need your original phone handy for the speaker and mic, but no big deal. You still don't need to change devices to answer, call or text. It's great. Especially for only $10 a year.

Would like to be able to add a name to a thread. Sometimes I run into a delay in populating the send name. Would also like to know when the text gets sent NOT when I open the app.

I really like this app, it's easy to use and works really fast. The only problem I have is that sometimes group messages come in as individuals. It's right on my phone messaging app, but on this app they're all over the place.

not reliable, some times it works very well, but sometimes it cannot send out messages. very frustrating!

Have not yet decided to upgrade and start paying, but please keep it cheap enough so I don't have to find another app. This app works so much better than the first one I tried, which couldn't seem to keep up properly. Thanks!

Awesome program. I can get my email from all my devices. It just needs a way to delete mail from tablet instead of always going to your phone to delete.

Would be nice if I could use it, my phone kicked the bucket tried to find something o be able to text my husband but I need a phone to sign up for the app. Pretty useless. If I had my phone I would not be downloading a text app!

It works OK most of the time. It takes a while to fully sync and send messages. The biggest con is that I get no notification and I always have to check the app.

Wanted an app which would allow me to Text from my Nexus 7 Tablet, and found mysms. It works well, allowing me to send / receive Texts from either the Tablet or Phone, and the messages are synced between the two. The interface to my contacts list is not quite as refined as the Hello texting app.

I really like this app, but am not happy with the signature it puts on some of my messages. I've scoured the settings and can't seem to find where to turn this off. Otherwise has been working great for me so far. Will update rating when I can turn the signature off, will upgrade it further if they make it easy to find in the menu.

Newest update seems to have fixed all the minor problems. Due to my bad service area their's one place in the house I'm able to get a good strong phone signal. Love that I can setup up my phone where I get the best signal then use my tablet to text on. Sure we could just use the website, but receiving messages instantly via notification bar or pop is worth the price of admission.

I have tried using competitive android msg apps. One particular app (MT) was useful but as with most good apps, they got too big and fancy, which caused many problems connecting among compatible android tablet/phone. This app gets 4 stars as my first rating. So far its simple, useful, and error free. This app gives you an option to get fancy if you need that in a msg app. I like simple and functional. I am glad that I found this app. I have phone and two tablets connected with no present problems. Ok, Oct 18, 2015, now I have been asked to further review this product. 03/11/2016: No change to the previous review. It has so far performed flawlessy. Support, if there is an issue, is outstanding. I still recommend this app! No change on previous rating! Program is designed to be a texting asset. Completely satisfied.

Does a decent job. Nothing fancy, just an adequate messaging app. Could use option for changing signatures. Does what it needs to do. Gave it 4 stars because it's better than 3. More like 3.5.
