Most of us feel panic while thinking of new main dishes when guests are coming or for holiday dinner. People get bored to see the same main dishes for again and again. Let’s make guzzled pork by stuffing fig into it. This could be prepared at the time of celebration like birthdays or Christmas. It would also loved by the family member at the time of holiday dinner. It is not something what people feel bore to eat. For this reason, it could be an ideal dish to prepare.
For the stuffed guzzled pork recipe, we will need one and a half KG pork with bone, sixty ml clear honey, two tablespoon mustard powder, one lemon rind grated, rosemary, and figs. For the stuffing we will need some more ingredients. They are four shallots, one clove of garlic, 250 gram dried figs, one apple, butter fifty gram, rosemary, three tablespoon sherry, lemon juice and grated rind and salt and pepper as per taste.
With the above mentioned ingredients, the recipe is made. Using this amount of ingredients, you will be able to serve approximately six persons. You might need half an hour to take the preparation for the recipe. It will take additional two hours for the pork cooking. The dish is more mouthwatering when they are served oven hot. It would not taste the same good when it is cold. The amount served in each plate will provide you with approximately five hundred calories.
For preparing the stuffing first let’s do some chopping. Get the rosemary, apple, figs, garlic and shallots and chop them. Take some butter in fry pan. Make the shallots and garlic golden brown in butter. Then add one by one; sherry, lemon juice and rind grate, rosemary, apple slice and figs. All of them will soften in heat. We need to cook them until all the water is reduced. By this our stuffing is ready. Keep it for getting cold for some time.
In the meantime, season the loin pork with salt and pepper. Keep the stuffing at the middle and roll it up. Use strings to tie up at several places. Then put it in oven for one hour. Cook honey, mustard and lemon rind all together. Brush this mixture on the pork in every fifteen minutes. When it gets perfectly cooked, put the strings off. Cut it in thin slices in order to serving. Do not warm the food before too long to serve. You may garnish the dish with rosemary and pieces of figs.
