WiFi Keyboard+Screen Capture

Well I didnt know what to rate it. Only if it didnt need that first time usb connection I couldve tested it.i didnt get tothough. So I thought dont hate so I went through comments and dexided 4 was good if you dont need a usb connection in a diffrent up date e mail me plz creeperbud13@gmail because id love to try it.

This works really well with my Note 2 running Android 4.1.2. It also appears to work with my BN HD+ tablet using CM11, at least via wifi, but I think any USB issues there are with me. Very good app - recommended highly.

It connects but won't show the video. I saw the logs and it shows, permission denied when trying to allow video sharing. I think this message would be useful for the developer and help in fixing the issue. The keyboard however works fine but can't do anything unless the screen is shared. Fix is please.

It's got potential. It doesn't work well when the desktop window is in landscape mode. Also would be nice if it can launch apps from desktop, but it doesn't. Would be nice if it worked over 3g in case it gets lost or stolen. Response time is slow as well but otherwise great for presentation

This app is better than other screening apps.. Few things dat didn't work 4 my phone (Micromax Canvas2) are: 1) It gets disconnected sometimes. 2) Landscape mode doesn't work properly. When I rotate d phone or thru PC app, it doesn't display d screen properly. But, after that, when I switch back 2 portrait mode, d proper landscape screen is flashed for just 1sec b4 switching 2 portrait. 3) When I try 2 connect via wifi, even after entering correct IP add, it says 'Unable to connect' Solve this issue. Plz

Connection drops out, has its bugs & lags so I hope they'll continue updating to stabilise connection & maybe add more features. Developers should definitely simplify the PC installation process too. MyMobiler gets 5 stars anyway. ** NOTE: It's essential to enable USB debugging on your device.

One of a kind! Simple to use; works better than VNC. Does not need root to operate. The only other app that allows for VNC without root is a paid app and the process is not nearly as easy as this one. Thank you!

I can't get the keyboard to work but the screen refresh rate is great. Touches are responsive. There are some bugs with scaling as well but otherwise, it's a great app. Hope it's still under development. on android 4.3 btw

So far not got the screen to mirror onto my laptop, although the remote keyboard does work. Won't connect via cable, so needs wifi though which means i can't connect my desktop with no wifi. Can't see any obvious help files installed with the app. The "settings" option opens an .ini file and i have no idea what any of the variables do or if any of them will allow me to connect via USB

To all the people who say that this app doesn't work in jellybean 4.2 ...please fiddle a little and let me assure you it WILL work. Performs exactly as stated. Very well done guys. And keep it up. I dont know if its possible but if the video rate could increase..... but if it can then nothing like this. The video is frame by frame but I still say its a very good effort.

it works but I haven't been able to set up the wifi or wtv feature, I have my phone in debug and connected through usb for now, it works good enough for me... only the mouse and keyboard work, I mean I see the screen where the android device is supposed to show up, but it's grey, I can click and the device reacts and the keyboard works perfectly. that is good enough for me, still that doesn't mean it works fully. Might just be my device, it's an ainol novo 7 advanced II tablet with gingerbread, feiyu mod. so that might be the reason. Anyway, I had been looking everywhere for an app to use my PC keyboard on my android and this does the job, out of a very limited quantity of apps I was able to find that did this, this one is the only one that actually worked for me. Thank you. A couple of suggestions: put some options in the device keyboard driver so we can disable the full screen typing, it's annoying, have the keyboard work as if it were external. Second, give us the option to see where the mouse is on the device or something, at the odd chance that the screen doesnt show up on the pc software. Once again Thank you.

Tried everything ...followed all instructions but doesn't wrk. Always disconnects in fraction of sec. Tough to get started. .un installed.

It is not displaying the screen of my jelly bean device correctly. The display is completely fragmented with garbage output. I would love to see this app working on my device.

not the best, but well. i installed this to find out how smooth it is to record screen activity on me phone. not smooth though. shown like it's not a video. it's a slide instead. overall, nice.

My Android screen shows on my PC as a black screen only. I have tried all the Display options 1, 2 and 3 (Direct, Service, Other), but to no avail. The MyMobiler website doesn't provide a way to debug this either.

I've been using this app since I had my first WINDOWS smart phone! It's too handy not to have. If you're working on your pc, you can connect your phone and use it so much easier while on the computer. I haven't even connected to my pc yet with this phone, I just know that: It will work I can use my pc seamlessly I can text with my keyboard I can sync at the same time I don't know anyone who has both a pc and a smartphone that wouldn't benefit from this app and software!!

We have been using the app to do live demonstrations of our GeoJot+ app. It takes a little effort to set up but we have had great success during our presentations. We often use the USB option to be safe. It works well with GoToMeeting and we have never had any problems.

No longer works. It used to, and would be a very useful app if it still did, but it isn't compatible with newer versions of Android and hasn't been updated since 2012. Sadly I think it's safe to say this app is dead. Uninstalled.

It worked on my Nexus 7 but I had to fiddle with the display setup so it displayed my androids screen on my computer. However it was pretty laggy but not too bad.

I've been using MyMobiler for many years and the ability to control my phone from my computer is a huge benefit. Entering text from my Desktop's keyboard is so much easier than the onscreen keyboard. I prefer connecting my phone over a USB cable than other similar apps that use WiFi. It's not cumbersome at all since I'm charging my phone anyway. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. Setting it up following the instructions was simple.

Does not work on Nexus 5 w/ Android 6.0. Since it hasn't been updated since 2012, I would venture to say this no longer works.

I've done every single instruction properly in the correct order is has asked. But it still says no with the USB connection even though I have the phone properly connected to my computer.

I've been using this app since the Windows Mobile 5 & 6 days (MyMobiler was originally for this platform), before i even heard of android, by far best tool ive ever used for stealth usage of my phone. I would give 5 stars if the developer would update this app to support new android versions. Last updated Dec., 2012 ? i believe 3 major android versions released since and i have lost the ability to project my phone screen on my computer screen. other than that, keyboard still works as it should.

It was never as easy as "install & run", but I was able to get it working on my previous laptop. However, on my Asus t100, the best operability has been it responding to the keyboard while displaying a grey rectangle over 75% of my screen . . a classic case of "oh, you wanted wheels with that car?"

Could you fix it? I really liked the app in the demo video and would like to have it on my device. Please fix it. Thanks

I only just now rooted my 3 year old android to get rid of ATT bloatware. This Huawei u8800-51 was my first android. I'm old school, understand programs and pc before they had hard drives but my lack of wanting to be staring at my phone all day left me behind in this techy world as I didn't need upgrades. Switching a year ago to smart talk prepaid plan made my phone not usable with att bloat and after rooting I saw that there is NO upgrade from my version of froyo for my particular phone, the "51" model. So many apps on google play not compatible now. But this will do, old Apps still out here and my phone works better than it did when new with many apps I never wanted! This will do until I figure out my next move. I'm thinking of amazon products, fire phone, tablet and prime service, because the only thing besides text, email weather I want to do is watch TV....aka movies etc. What I really want is a higher quality made fast phone that is for old timers! (I'm 60 year old female that took programming in the early 70s!)..that comes unlocked with ten apps, done!

{Edit: downrating bcuz now unable to get this to work (so I use Rsupport's Mobizen instead).} Android screen mirrored "live" on ur pc and u interact w/ it there w/o looking @ phone. U click on virtual screen and type to control remotely via wi-fi! Fast/responsive enuf. Avoids the usual onscreen kbd. blocking 1/2 screen. Seems 2 enable screenshots 2. Some apps enable a pc's keyboard (& *maybe* mouse) but u always have to look @ android screen bcuz doesn't appear on pc with those. Others can txt etc from PC but w/this app u can do EVERYTHING remotely. Prev i tried WiFi Keyboard (Ivan Volosyuk), Easy WiFi Keyboard (labaleine), and Remote Keyboard (Onyxbits). Altho it *appeared* that they would be EZr to set up, I followed instructions but didn't get them to work well enuf, but, 2b fair, I didn't spend as much time fiddling w/ them (there weren't so many steps to fiddle with) as I did with present app. So, app downside is that setup isn't 2 simple (tho I didn't have 2 edit any config files as some people did). And u must install desktop client too (is pc-only). In-app instructions r useless; follow link to setup guide on their website instead for "1-time" usb-cabled setup etc.

After going thru the instructions (usb dbugging, install samsung driver, etc), only keyborad works..gray display all the time. Looks like this a very common response. However, the developers do not respond. Unistalling.

Took me a while to find this app, but it's the first one that actually works. I tried other screencast and android vnc server options, and all of them failed miserably. However, not only did this app succeed in letting me remotely control my android device (making debugging much easier), it is very robust with lots of options, and the interfaces are spectacular. I am rarely impressed, but this app has done it,

works perfectly. i can see and control the screen almost as well as i can using sidesyn on my samsung laptop

Update: It appears that this project/app is dead. The email for this dev is getting bounced back. Wish there was a replacement. I'd swear by this app using on my Galaxy S II and my Nexus 5. But since the Android 5.0 release came out this app is now useless! I don't know if the dev has let this project die or what. I wouldn't mind paying a couple of bucks if that means the app would be updated and supported. Back to five stars if it gets fixed!

brilliant but crash your phone set after 1 day of usage, the phone won't able to start at all probably (affect boot-loader) , it make adjustment to the ROOT bios and crash the whole thing during installation ~~~ so your phone set will DIE after try it for few hours !! !! you been told ! previous comment : , just a bit sluggish (it is an emulator) installation -- HTC -- search for HYC sync manager for your HTC cool phone sets -- allow 10 min to run that installer and update Connect to USB -- the powered cable (one end is USB) installation is simple -- not much setting or root (security approved does not need on my phone) pros and cons =========== let me use my FLAT LED screen let me use the wireless Logitech keyboard K230 USE it for typing is great there will be an emulator (simulator of your phone screen) when you use THIS device i.e you don't have to hold the phone on the table, just connect it with USB (charge it a bit too , this way) for game, probably the sluggish screen, you have to use the phone as the finger-enabled-control but KINDA feel of wii-U (so it is cool and neat) typing , don't expect instant, every 1.5 to 2 second, it refresh the screen !

***READ THE INSTRUCTIONS*** Really, I mean it this time. Sure we're all geeks and we know this stuff, but there are some important, unusual configuration steps required. A lot of the negative reviews of this app are from people who had problems due to not reading and following the instructions. There are setup steps that have to be done to be able to connect, see your phone in the PC client and use the keyboard. Once the app is configured it's really easy to use. I've been looking for an app like this for years. I have tried many things, such as various VNC servers, Android Explorer, the SDK viewer, etc. and they were all kludgey and kind of broken. This app works as well as Remote Desktop in Windows (well, no remote sound, but other than that...) Now I can keep my focus on my PC screen instead of having to pick up my phone to look at notifications. Woo!

It didn't display the screen on the computer, just a black/dark grey screen. Don't get me wrong it has potentcial but it needs to be elaborated upon and it could be way better.

can chat on whatsapp, can text anyone using laptop keyboard, and its quick and cool. specially when you are on work and you don't have time pickup your phone every call, message, FB Notification or whatsapp chat.
