I do now consider this APP as EOL (end of life) and the developer of it, as totally irresponsible person. Because he did not remove this app from Google play in all those years. Practically this APP doe not work with Android 6.0 and further development this abandoned in the past five years. I am 47 years old industrial electrician and now blogger, I can not forgive opportunists them wasting other people time. At ITTSB Blog Forum » ITTSB General Discussion … it is posted my last email attempt so to contact this developer.

I was hoping to use Shasta Stowaway kbd on Moto G XT1045, KitKat 4.4.2 ... But selecting KeyPro from input methods dialog results in immediate crash ("unfortunately, keypro has closed") from 1st attempted use, every time. Last update notice mentions Gingerbread! Sad. I'd be happy to pay if it worked. Any alternatives for old SPP keyboards? Is there an HID version if the Shasta?

I get it to pair, get KeyPro to "Discover" keyboard, get it all set. But, when I try type in any text line the error message, "Unfortunately, KeyPro has stopped." pops up with a beep. Why is it stopping??

Working happily with my EVO 4G & Freedom Pro keyboard. Wish it would work with any BT keyboard, but that's Android's fault, not Keypro's.

Thank goodness for free trials. Lump this in with BlueInput and the rest of the crappy, non-working BT apps out there. Uninstalling.

This app works with the iPAQ FA287A foldable bluetooth keyboard if you use the "Stowaway Shasta" setting, but until support for this keyboard is specifically added and tested, I can't see paying $10 for this app. Drop me a line if you find anything else that works with this keyboard. This app almost does--and it's expensive for that.

IPaq BT keyboard I can pair with keyboard "0000" but not able to get it to work! Any solution? Using Galaxy Tab GT-P1000R, firmware 2.3.3, kernal 2.6.35.7.; Gingerbread.uxkg1

Worked very well on my previous Handy, even worked on feedback and did last fixes! But a year later... new system, can't use previous key, buy again..

X70%
by X####:

Phone will find keyboard in bluetooth. If keyboard is switched to "HID," pressing and holding "Pair" gives no message. If keyboard is switched to "SPP" (Blackberry mode), pressing and holding "Pair" gives a code, but it flashes for only a fraction of a second and then you get a message that pairing could not be accomplished. Even remembering the 6-digit number and entering it then fails. Too bad. This looks like a correctable glitch.

Q70%
by Q####:

Works on Motorola Defy+. Works with HP iPaq Foldable Bluetooth Keyboard. But it's not very fun: key combos are not working, Fn works as Options, and – most important – I don't have layout I need (Russian), and there's no way to make it on my own. Unfortunately, it's useful only on half currently, so I'm not going to buy the app yet, and will look for an alternative.

No documentation and very little help on the website. I don't understand why. I put my method in spp mode. Finally got software to recognize my Freedom Keyboard and discovered I had to select Key pro as my input from the software main screen. Then I started getting the force close errors. I lost an hour trying to get this working.

I was able to successfully pair my Freedom Universal Keyboard to my Samsung Galaxy S2 when it was on Gingerbread. After the upgrade, I can see the keyboard and choose it as the input device, but KeyPro keeps force closing. Sent an email to KeyPro support yesterday. No response yet. Too bad, especially since I paid the $9.95 for this app. Uninstalling.
