The newest version is better than the last, it has fewer pop-ups and is better organized. But, I can't make all the photos open? Several articles say they have more than one photo and I cannot open any!

This new update won't allow me to open all pictures. If it says 4 photos, only one will show. Samsung S8 phone being used.

Very useful, especially since Madison newspaper has terrible website.

Since the latest version, it's less relevant. More left politically, not worth bothering with. Only read the obits now.

Crashes on every other load. Now all I get is "an unexpected error has occurred", like I have no connection on both data as well as wifi.

Latest version sucks. All I want is the news and not a whole of wasted pics.

New update is terrible. Preferred the previous version.

Everything is click bait now. Can't even read an entire headline without opening the article!? I dont like it when I'm trying to see if i even care to read the article but get... the headline could be 3 words but you can only show the first 2 and then "..."? That is crap! Clearly there is enough room to show the entire headline! Used daily pre update. Can't stand it anymore!

The reporters write their stories in a way that literally makes everything about race, which therefore makes giant arguments in the comments. You all are just adding to the hate that is already growing. Just tell the story without making us all hate each other!!! I ended up switching to another local news so that I dont end up hating my neighbors

What this app needs is a few more pop up ads........because theres nothing i love more than clicking on a story and having an ad pop up, then closing it, and just when i get almost a full sentence into it, another pops up! FRICKEN AWESOME!

Ads no longer let you see the news. Real tiny x to close ads but too small to accurately press on a phone. Poor design.

So many pop up adds. Once when I open an article, then a few seconds later. I understand the need for advertising, but it's frustrating when they pop up so frequently.

Pop up adds are back! I gave you a 2nd chance, thats all you get! 27 and 15 get my business now✌

Why must you load your app with junk??? Then you tell people your working on it..this app is a junk..

Ads are ok on a free app, but NOT audio. Why trying to read news in a quiet area, an ad starts playing with audio, it was not appreciated.

New format is nice, easy to use.

This new version is clunky and frequently locks up. I used the previous version daily, but now may end up uninstalling the app. Update: I generally use/read this app on a tablet in a landscape position. I tried the new version app with my tablet turned in a portrait position, and it works much better. On my phone, I generally use portrait, but not on my tablet.

The most recent update to both your website and this app were not ready. It has an unfriendly interface that is difficult to navigate. Losing school closings as a banner was a terrible idea. Most people use this app for that sole purpose. I'm all for change when the new thing is better, but this update was not ready and you released it anyway....No reason for that to happen.

I watch the news online in the mornings. This morning, after the "update," I spent 15 minutes (which I don't have to spare in the mornings!) trying to find the "watch now" and "full site" links. If they were there, I didn't find them (they need to be EASY to find!!), so I switched to WKOW/Channel 27!

So, after so much confusion of wondering why after updating this App, which used to be the Main Weather App, changed completely with pop-up ads, constant closing tapping on sections and exiting out of pop-ups and the radar not having any options to view the clouds, warnings, etc... I decided to check the old Main News App which I uninstalled early last year and now this is the Main Weather App?! Was there a reason this and the other App needed to be switched for technical reasons? I had no problems with either one before, but my main focus was weather and could still choose to view the news when I needed to, so I didn't need the Main News App which was the only reason I had uninstalled it last year.

I used this app every day until this new upgrade. I thought I would get used to the changes but I'm not and I'm uninstalling. I hate that you can't see the whole headline on the main page. I don't like the different catagories that were added. For example when I open up the entertainment section I see the same stories multiple times under different headings. Only need the story once.

Update 1/20/17 reinstalled in the early fall but for the last month am noticing freezing and crashing issues again. It crashes almost every time I visit. Ongoing issue. Samsung tab S tablet. Follow up 2 months later still unstable and crashing. Uninstalling it to use another channels app

Hate to say this but my favorite news outlet will loose my support concerning this update. Frequently locks up and closes, can't upload photos because the upload icon doesn't respond and just this morning while trying yet again to submit a weather photo a pop up window saying I won something.....smh, officially the worst news app I've used.

Even with notifications turned off the app drains the battery. After I use it I restart my phone

Can't get school delays/closings to work. All I get is a blank list.

I hate that every time I back out of a story I am reading I have to re-scroll to find the next story. It should not start back at the top headline. Annoying at a minimum, most of the time it causes me to just close app and look for news elsewhere. I used to love this app for local news, please fix!

School closing notifications, thank you! I want to pay to disable ads, why is this not an option? App is good, ads are annoying. If I open an article and go back I have to scroll from the very top again. That is not user friendly and needs to be addressed.
