2 different phones, live stream will always drop after 3-5 minutes if screen is locked or on. Very annoying.

It's good when it works. A lot of times I get notifications will click on them and then it will freeze up the app. The app is good and radio function is great, it just freezes a bunch.

About 33% of the time, it comes back with an error. Otherwise, it looks great and reads well.

It stops playing podcasts when my screen times out. Please fix this ASAP

Good app. Streamed RailHawks games with it, unfortunately does not have Chromecast functionality.

Podcasts turn off every time screen times out. Also would be nice if podcasts could play in the background. Agree with reviewer that says the app needs to appear in running app tray.

I want to start by saying I love 99 the Fan. I listen to it on the radio everyday. With that said I can't stand the app. It cuts out in the middle of broadcasts for no apparent reason. I have shut down the entire app and restart it. Some days are worse than others. I tried the bug fixes thru email with techs and tried using different types of hardware whether it's my phone or tablet. Nothing works. I'll just go back to listening to it on the radio until they fix the big.

Just wish the podcasts would continue playing while phone screen is off. The stream doesn't stop, but podcasts don't.

As others have mentioned, the screen must be active to listen to AUDIO podcasts. Ridiculous.

Good amount of content for a local sports app (most of it exclusive to wral). As other reviewers have mentioned, needing the screen on to play podcasts is annoying. Radio streaming can play in the background but doesn't show up in the tray like most audio apps so you have to reopen the app to stop playing.

The sound cuts out about every 10 minutes while live streaming and the app crashes. App needs to reload before it will connect back. Android Oneplus 3

I was looking for an app I can listen to live game radio, the same way I can listen to 99.9 the fan on ESPN radio in the car. What do I get?people talking,not about the live game but maybe an update on scores

This has GOT to get fixed! I use this feed to listen to all the Hurricanes games cause I work evenings! How on earth did y'all miss this in your latest update?!? This is unacceptable! Please fix this NOW. Please don't wait and roll the fix into your next update. Fix it NOW...... Update : Got a new phone running Lollipop, streams don't work at ALL now. Whoever is responsible for this app needs to be fired NOW. Only one of my 100+ apps that won't work. Very sad.

New version audio streaming only works if I stay on WRAL Sportsfan home page. If my screen times out or I move to something else on my phone streaming audio stops. No problem with all the other apps I have. They continue to play in the background no matter what my screen shows. This is useless as the app's #1 option is to listen to your streaming radio shows. I contacted WRAL but only a thank you for my message and they'll let me know about my issue. That was 2 weeks ago. Deleted.

Audio stream only works if your screen is on which drains the battery.

Updated to the latest version and the app no longer streams radio. Please fix.

Podcast and radio streams only play with app in foreground and screen on. Makes them impossible to listen to if you need to use your phone for anything else.

The new revised version is horrible. Like other posters said when the screen dims it shuts down the app. At least it's finally forcing me to stick with espn and not run across horrible Dave glenn anymore.

Streaming radio problem: Whenever I want browse, or I my screen times out on Samsung tab(or phone) I loose the connection. I think it's a android issue, don't have the same issue with my iphone.

I'd like to say something nice, but I cannot get any audio output. Android APP says it is streaming but all I get is the "Sound of Silence".

This version drops audio stream and crashed more on my Samsung Galaxy 4s than the previous version. Now it drops when it is not the active screen, which makes it pratically worthless.

Doesn't play in background

App was solid for awhile... Now multiple streams play at the same time and will only play when the front page is loaded. When's the next update???
