KCTV5 - Kansas City News

Pretty much useless. The video takes for ever to load and plays about 3 seconds then freezes, rinse and repeat. No actual text to the story and video that doesn't play. Removing th I s from my phone.

I loved the old app. This new one is so bad I won't be using it any longer.

Enjoy getting caught up on update news I like when they tell me about the weather and keep me update I love it I have no problem with it thanks

I like it because it alerts me to breaking news and storms in the area. I brought it from an old Blackberry to using it on a S5.

It let's me know what's going on around the area and world.

Liked the older app this one has too many issues

CBS affiliates everywhere are that way, sadly. I miss seeing the blue opening screen pic of downtown KC, MO on the previous version. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, by the way. I enjoyed looking at it every time the app opened--Kudos to the artist(s). The new look is functional, though.

I like channel 5 news and I'm Sure a lot of hard work went into this new app, but I actually prefer the old one. It's annoying to constantly have to turn from portrait to landscape mode to read or watch news reports. You can't do both in either mode on its own (though you can watch Live news in a tiny tiny video screen in portrait mode). I'm likely going to download a different news app that will allow all viewing in landscape mode, like KCTV5 did previously, until these inconveniences are fixed.

News is much less than before. Catagories just replicate rather than expand coverage. Very disappointed. Now I have to use additional apps to get the days news. Wish it would go back as before.

Enjoyed the other KCTV app but this one sucks. I don't use it very often now when before this upgrade this was the only local news app I used!

Same news just different categories, just put it all under one tab called 'news' and be done with it. Poor work on the news

I was forced to update. I hate the new app. I stopped using a local competitors app when they did the same thing. New and improved always means the end user is unhappy. It is no longer my go to app for news.

I absolutely hate the new app. I wish I had never upgraded it. The new app is worthless.

Old app was much easier to quickly browse through stories. Bigger pictures does not make a better app.

I'm from KCMO. This local CBS app provides excellent news items on the local area. Been a longtime Chiefs and Royals fan and this app keeps me informed. Thanks

Why do you make this app fit for phones and not tabs or desktop, like previous ver's. Until you change,,,later

I was a little frustrated with the old APP....... BUT THE NEW APP IS 100 X worse..plz change back to old version!!!
