MLA-My Causelist for Android
The ecosystem has a model in place for litigants, lawyers and law firms and will be great tool for case tracking, analytics and business intelligence over a period of time. The combined offering of the portal, the app and the platform will bring together the calendars, the causelists and a lot of other important information from 37 higher Courts in India (The Supreme Court and the 36 High Courts) onto a single platform.
Name based search and update feature for all cases from Nov 2013: A user can now add his case by searching for either his name or a specific case number, all the cases with similar name or number from Nov 2013 will be listed and the user can add the right case details and these are tracked from the moment of assignment.
Hearing dates: The next hearing dates can now be entered in the Dashboard immediately after a particular hearing. This will synchronize with the actual next hearing date when the original causelist is released. This also ensures that you will know when a case has not come up on a date it is supposed to.
Enhanced case notification feature: Improved case notification feature where a user will get a notification with all his cases for a day at a specific time in the morning, so never miss a case hearing from now on.
Extensive reporting features based on user profiles: Up to 30 different types of reports that can be customized based on a user’s preferences; these are easily exportable and can be used for supporting invoices and case explanations.
Court calendar integration with device or PC calendars: Now integrate the app calendar with your mobile, PC or desktop calendars, stay informed well in advance.
Collaboration and data sharing on demand: A user can share his, her or their information with other users based on need or for specific stages in a case or specific durations of time. You can have all your case details at your fingertips always.
New law firm features to create groups and sub groups and enable specific access: In this version a law firm can create and enable access with restricted privileges and rights. Permissions to access, view etc. can be granted based on profile and user role. You can be rest assured that you will never miss a hearing after this.
Integration of judge short codes: The current version also features the judge short codes as they appear on the printed causelists of the Courts.
High end search feature across daily causelist, master list, miscellaneous list and mediation list: Now you can search for all your cases across a combination of lists.
Web Subscription features: Currently enabling subscriptions only through the Web for lawyers and law firms.
Litigants with only one case can use the system free of any cost for the life time of the case. With enhanced features like suggestive referencing in the pipeline a user can be assured that he or she will have access to not only his case details but also references to details of similar cases that are happening or were disposed in the recent past across Courts in India.
