@NooN (for Visually Impaired)

This application helps the visually impaired people walk on the pedestrian way paved with braille blocks without sticks. The camera of a smartphone captures the pedestrian way periodically (about one picture every 20 msec). The application processes the captured image to verify whether the user is on the right path. If the user should move to the right, the application generates sounds to the right earphone. If the user should move to the left, the application generates sounds to the left earphone. Depending on how much the user (visually impaired person) has to move, the sound strength varies.
