About Bouncing Balls
After reading Xoppa's tutorial on LibGDX 3D (http://blog.xoppa.com/basic-3d-using-libgdx-2) and others, I was inspired to write an app integrating various features that have been presented.
It's not a game. Rather, it is a physics simulation built for entertainment. Scene is like this: a mother ball continuously throws out balls of different colors. Balls are bouncing under effect of changing wind. When it falls into the hole, a burst of flame is erupted. Also, you can listen to background music of your own choice!
A number of features are provided from icons on the right:
You can pan and zoom the view whatever you like. To resume to home view, swipe on the first icon on the right.
You can drag mother ball to new position. To resume to home position, swipe on second icon.
From third icon, you can adjust some parameters of simulation.
•Coefficient of restitution (bounciness of balls).
•Frequency of ball generation.
•Gravity (relative to Earth).
•Wind effect.
•Wind direction steadiness.
•Background music.
•Flag. For best result, flag pattern should be 3:2 in length:height.
The bottom right one is music volume control.
This app is powered by LibGDX with Bullet Physics extension.
