Somfy Protect

Since temporary outage, alarm does not notify my phone when a key fob user arms or disarms. Auto disarm when I arrive home on phone does not notify anymore. Please advise. These features worked great before. United States tech support is non existent no contacts.

After the update to Somfy I have had nothing but issues. Everytime I go into the app I have to login, which takes forever. There is zero storage if you don't pay for their cloud services. (most will give you a small amount even if it was only an hour - which is sad considering the camera itself is capable of three hours of recording without an internet connection). I don't think I will be keeping the system much longer, again it sucks because I purchased the entire system: alarm, camera, extra door sensors. This is the single biggest and most costly mistake on tech that I have ever made. Oh well, live and learn.

I cannot successfully add my camera. Every time it fails to connect. I have followed instructions. Also, "need help?" button within app takes you to a dead link. I'm not in UK, but rather in Canada. Is there a N American help number?

I really need help I've looked everywhere online and I'm trying to set up the security camera but when it scans the barcode and is almost done downloading it says failed and I've tried everything to fix it I have a brand new phone and great internet I don't get it. I need like an alternative app that lets me use the camera.. ...please help

App went from good to bad in an evening. Now all I see is failed to connect to server. Wish I could get my money back now cause the camera isn't cheap but I absolutely can not use it. I have camera alarms going off and can't see who's in my house.

Just updated to Somfy and the app won't connect over mobile data only WiFi. How am i to get real time updates on my house without this!! Security compromised, this needs to be fixed

Updated to Somfy. Won't even connect to the internet. Terrible start to a new updated app. Keeps losing Internet connection. Shows privacy screen is down when it isn't. Slow access to website. Says camera is off when it isn't. I don't trust this security system to monitor my home when I'm not there. Needs updating ASAP.

Just updated to Somfy app and it is not loading. Keep getting a page that says 'no internet connection'. Great way to start with Somfy.

Useful. But please improve the speed with which it starts. I have a 3GB ram phone and it still takes a lot more than most apps to open. Speed is important when one needs to shut off the alarm or make it sound.

Simple, intuitive and actionable. Mobile first company.

What if something dramatic happens... and it happens to skip? MIC IS NO LONGER WORKING FOR SOME REASON??? IT HAS BEEN DISABLED BY MYFOX....

- why not use the phone's location of each user to display who is home? (function uselessly restricted to key fob..) - calendar setting should take into account if users are home or not - no phone support, only tickets opening that doesn't seem to get much attention, even if support requirement is urgent.

Works very well every time

Had it for less than a year and it shut down and I cant restart it. When it was working it kept buffering. When I would try to check the camera on my cell sometimes it would work sometimes it didnt. Dont trust your home security to this camera. There are better cameras out there.

When this app works, it's good. The pictures are clear and you can't beat the privacy aspect. Problem is, it doesn't work very often. I paid twice as much than what I paid for my D-Link cameras, but I find with the constant buffering, or server being unavailable, I'm having twice as many problems. This app needs a major performance boost to become a reliable and relevant product. Until then, I'll keep using my D-Links.

Works good when it works. Alarm functions like it should but hands free entry works about 40% of the time. App is always inconsistent, always loosing settings. Had to completely delete the app and Uninstall the alarm to get it working again.

Android app regularly stops during startup. It's a pity because when app works, it's great :-)

Keeping in mind this is a review of the app and not the camera (which I would rate at 4 *'s). I have tried a few other ip cameras and their related apps, and this one works the best of all of them. It was easy to connect to the camera, and all the functions work as described.

How come on the iPhone the app has zoom and on Android it doesn't?!

Today afternoon my app decided to not connected to Myfox server even i still getting notification of my home alarm so what a hell ???

This is such an elegant and easy to use app. I can check on my cat using the camera and add friends and family to help monitor. Tip - if you have a pet and you set the camera to motion sense, you will end up having your siren go off!

Instructions are hard to find on how 2 access and use advertized features. Frequent stalling of monitoring with buffering message when this occurs. Has 2 be placed on a flat surface within 8 feet of a power outlet. U can't turn it always on drawing power and the unit is warm 2 the touch. I bring this up because there's probably a lithium ion battery inside which have been in the news a lot 4 igniting. U can't access ur account from a desktop computer. Works smoothly and easy to use

Myfox hardware is gorgeous as is the app. Just wished it detected when no one was home and auto armed the alarm

The app is super smooth and very intuitive. The camera video picture is way better than I was expecting. 5 stars for the camera and the app.
