myFitnessCompanion - Health for Android
Can only connect to Jawbone's UP. Cannot login to fitbit or Google fit without error or the app crashing
Crashes when trying to log in to google fit and won't connect to fitbit at all. Paid for premium for nothing.
I love ❤ the app, but since the demise of my android wear I need it to support my Garmin Ant+ heart rate strap.
Died when I used it. Took a while to get manual entry of blood pressure data going, then learnt its a subscription to sync with Google Fit (I don't mind paying, just not forever).
Goodone
Well, I just do not get it. You want me to pay for an app when you do not really tell me if it will work with any of my devices. Saying you work with FitBit, is like saying you work with cars. Do you which FitBit does the app work with? Saying you work with Google Fit is the same. Do you store the data in Google Fit or just take some data that is already in Google Fit?
The medication Scheduling is not as flexible as I would like, as it can't cope with 2x pd MTW of a given week. Good variiety of trackers to choose from, though, and decent Charting capability . I have also discovered that the meds and manual data is not automatically backed up and in trying to troubleshoot the Fitbit problem it has lost all the data back to an early drive backup. Quite irritating for someone undergoing Chemotherapy
Too much hassle. It should read either directly from Withings scale or via Withings app. Uninstalling

I love this app!
There is an annoying crash message in the current version of the app. But they are working on fixing it and due to my special situation were able to help me get a workaround in place in the meantime. Bravo
I could only import one item out of dozens from healthvault. I'd really like my money back.
It was pointed out to me that there is a two week free trail. I will try that and update the review after that. I update after doing trial . Here is the update now. It did sync with MS Healtvault, but I decided that it wasn't worth money as it doesn't sync with MS band I am using now. But for all features I will give it 4 stars
I wanted to use this to link my MS HealthVault information with my Jawbone information into one view.... can't do that unless you pay the premium subscription every month.
I use it to sync my MS Healthvault data and I am quite happy with the flawless sync and analytic.
Uninstall was even a bit troubling
Lagging badly. Poor design.
A great improvement and so much easier to use. Using the document feature to have my medical docs in one place! Like the automatic syncing with Microsoft HealthVault and my fitbit device.
I've tried many other monitoring apps over the years and as someone with a rare, chronic disease, this one is the best suited to my needs. I can keep a track of every vital I need to in order to share them with my medical team during reviews. Thanks to the latest updates, this app just keeps getting better and better with new monitors and servers added and a great new look. Keep up the good work.
Easy to use and I like the new look of the app. The new audio coach functionality is impressive. Connects with my bluetooth headset and works perfectly! Good job!
I'm amazed at how comprehensive this app is... Unfortunately, I really only use it to log blood pressure, glucose levels, and weight... For that it is exceptional... I can only assume that the other features work as well... Recently, i had an issue with having it on too many devices and was getting an error when I logged in... I have a habit of getting new phones... Anyway, I contacted them via email, and the issue was quickly resolved (same day)... When you look at the capabilities of what this app does, it is worth the subscription fee... If you have to monitor or log any measurement or activity, you'll be happy with it... Another great feature is that it uploads to various health servers... Anyway, try it out...
There's some learning threshold because the application can do a lot. It's good because it was able to communicate with the Nonin Model 4100 pulseoximeter that I have. Rating would go up if it was a bit easier to use.
Great for tracking BPs, blood sugars, weights, and anything else you could possibly think of. Thanks for the great app. The gold version uploads everything into the free HIPPA compliant healthvault, which is awesome b/c you don't have to write anything down anymore. Love it.
Great app. All the info you need is there. Tks
I love this app, and that I can backup to heathvault. I have congestive heart failure and have to monitor many things :( I would like to see monitors for fluid intake, salt intake, and a way to keep track of medication other than insulin. I have had trouble getting my phone to synch but my tablet is working fine.
I am a huge fan of automation functionality, and am very pleased with the integration of MFC with my Withings scale via HealthVault, as well as bringing in my blood pressure data. The developer has been very responsive and receptive to feedback, and I'm looking forward to the evolution of this useful app.
This is a great app, and it's linked to Microsoft UK HealthVault (the latter is regionally-linked, for some folks it will be the USA HealthVault). The developer has been really supportive in every way to a greenhorn like me when it comes to synchronizing various functions. And he is working on improvements all the time. I am very satisfied with his service and patience.
It sucks
This version doesn't have healthvault access at least you pay for it, I am giving one star because it says has Healthvault, so I don't know how the other stuff works. ... not healthvault not interested. ..
I use with the HxM. It gives verbal feedback during workouts and allows sharing results of workouts on Facebook and Twitter.
This review is only for tracking stool since that was the only reason I got the app (there are some poo logs out there but I don't like them as much as this one). This app allows you to track a lot of medical indicators and upload data. It also lets you track actual movement if you prefer that over manual entry of exercise. The free version has certain limits. For the features they offer it seems fair, although I don't know how well the sensors and other features work.
... but moreover, excellent support!
UNInstalling. I don't want to be limited. I need an app that will help me track my exercising. Only one (bronze) "version is for free but limits the number of measurements you can take and other features are not available."
So far so good. Like the idea of keeping track of all my ailments in one place
Good free app
Rubbish.
It has ads but still has annoying messages overlaying the screen unless you delete data history or pay a ridiculously high monthly upgrade fee.
But it doesn't sync with "My Fitness Pal", only "Fat Secret" . With a name like "My Fitness Companion" you'd think it would. If it did then I would pay for it but because it doesn't I'm uninstalling. If you ever do sync with "My Fitness Pal" I will reinstall, pay for the full app and rate it 5 stars.
Sounded really GREAT, till I downloaded it and found out that you have to have HealthVault Premium to use it with HealthVault. They should say that! Really disappointed :-( Will go back to using my 3 apps to record my blood sugar, food, exercise, etc. Wanted something that I could send all measurements to HealthVault, but can't afford Premium right now :-( Now have to uninstall. :-P

I couldn't connect it with Google FIT so all my workout activities were not recorded and therefore it's pretty much you useless to me because it's not recording any of my workout data. This is even though it shows in its app pictures that it does in fact connect to Google fit , bummer!
