My Doncaster

Can't edit reports to add additional info. Can't attach videos of reports despite it saying so. Two recorded MP4 clips are not showing on the file selector. App is unstable and crashes often. App is poorly designed. Cannot drop a pin on the map for reporting.

Mapping system to highlight area on reports does not allow pin to be moved to location,

It keeps changing and features which are useful keep disappearing such as the my reports section where you can keep an eye on them as sometimes things which are reported are not actioned.

slow slow , this is one bad app. Uninstalled. Tried again ,it's the same, tried again tried to register won't stop loading, I want this app get it sorted please. Tried again and again , the same , the same ,will not register me,will not register me.

Poor. The infrastructure supporting the app is non-existent. I reported a public litter bin overflowing into the footpath and it took almost a month before it was actioned. There is no feedback, so you never know if your message has been accepted/actioned/resulted.

Evaluating App for Doncaster MBC, compared to eForms. Found app works particularly well for location specific reports where a photograph adds value. GPS pin on Google maps appears in correct place and easy to move. Address look-up works well. EForms gather essential details and easy to use. Works best if registered with email as this provides confirmation and tracking. Automated assignment of tracking number used by Councils call tracking would be useful.

Rubbish I've been reporting a faulty street light for 3 months. Still waiting a reply, total waste of time.

Spent 5 mins doing a report on faulty street lamp, pressed submit and it said error cannot submit. Then went back to the beginning. No explanation or anything

A slight visual overhaul and some new sections (Money Advice Service and jobs - both good to see) but not much different. Spelling errors in the report it section - doesn't reflect well on the council. No ability to report noise nuisance or safeguarding issues which are major issues! A lot of links take you through to the main DMBC website which isn't optimised for mobile. And what's with the random icons?! A baseball for a manhole cover, the sun for street lighting and a bowling ball for manhole covers!
