mydlink Cloud app

Why has this app been abandoned (last update was in 2012)? I use it almost daily and would like some added functionality like remote restarting the NAS when I'm seeing some issues and accessing the logs.

Soo fed up...this cannot that cannot..technical people try to call them for days n did not returned call..

I've searched all over the internet and can't get it to work. Very poor!

Absolute Joke Dlink @ it again with the cheap stuff

It couldn't find the server. I copied the address from the app and pasted that into my browser and then it was found. What a waste of time. Don't bother with it. The ONLY good thing is that it's free. Haha.

Are they sleeping at d-link or do they just not care about their customers? Or are they simply clueless about how to clean up the messy software they are producing?

Waste of time. Will also be returning my dlink equipment as it does not work, either.

can't connect to the cloud.... browser works fine but the app doesn't. poor app

as a 325 owner this app functions, but is really limited. Es Explorer seems of more use. perhaps I'm missing some hidden tool/setting ?

It has the potential to be a good app. It is great for file explorer, but not so good for media player. It does not play very well with multitasking (developers, lower the "nice" value please). If I open one or two apps, it closes this app. No good for music player and doing other stuff. To make it even worse, when you open the app back again, it has to sign in again, and browse to folder again, it does not remember the last location (very annoying!) . My phone is not that bad, it has 2GB of memory, it should not be an issue. It happens even if I close all other apps. My wish list. 1. Chromecast support! 2. Video to be played in other apps like VLC for greater codec support.

Has anyone read the tos? 1) it cannot be copied or downloaded. 2) when you get to the all caps portion it talks about how you should not expect this product to work, be secure, be fixed, etc. 3) it is too long to read all the way through, it is designed to screw over the user.Why make a product if you won't stand by it? DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. The company does not care about it's users if the tos is written like this

Login itself is a headache n on top of it the configuration doesn work n hence its a waste downloading this app.. The description watevr s written nt even a single point of it is true...

Wasted hours trying to log in or connect to NAS but will not wirk & zero support. ES File Explorer is far better.

I got it all set up but the limited use of mp4 only is useless. Please add other codecs or the ability to use something like VLC

Can't sinc automatic like "Dropbox" for example, it will be great if it can and can't work with directory

Didn't expect much, since users have already paid for the drive. But this app still managed to surprise with how completely unusable it is. Kept asking me to update my firmware but the website has no firmware to update to. Complete waste of money.
