Diabetes:M for Android
For now, it doesn't worth money they ask for it. I have been using paid version of the app for 2 years and gave it 5 stars. Now I can claim it's quality is getting worse and worse: new releases are shipped untested with a lot of bugs, bug fix terms are really long. Some UX changes are just unexplainable and get reverted.
An all-inclusive app that helps keep track of just about every thing you need to monitor. *** Update 20 April 2017 *** In order to consolidate or transfer data, one must have an account. Sadly, to create an account, one must log in. But the server is unavailable. What good is that?
This used to be a good app. Now since a few recent upgrades, it looks like I'm signed in, but not. No matter what I try I can't sign in. Can't rest my password, can't register a new account, can't sign up for premium service without signing in. All it gives is an internal server error! Code=500. Total bs app!
I don't understand why developers think it's OK to charge people who has a life-long disease eternally for a tool app. This whole subscription thing on Diabetes apps is nothing but a scam. Let's say you are 40 years and will live until you are 80. If you keep using this app that whole time you will have paid an amount equal to a very nice car. A VERY nice car. It's just not worth it. Not by far. I don't mind paying for software, but again and again and again? No way. Fortunately there are alternatives. This one gets uninstalled although I already paid - once - for it.
I'm a type 1 diabetic and this app has helped me get my blood sugar levels controlled much better than they where before I used this. I've downgraded this to 3 stars because after purchasing this app I now have further opportuny to pay for a subscription for premium features, no way in hell am I giving any more money. The premium features should already be unlocked for people who have paid for the app and the subscription offered to new users. Bad move developers.
Nice application to keep track of my diabetes. Only problem I found is that the Google fit sync only works with weight. It doesn't sync my exercise. 5 stars if this gets fixed!
Excellent BUT I went to unlock the other features to get compete use of app. and wanted $8. + feature and put credit card in and got this Russian message. Now they have my credit card numbers and still no update. Very bad system.
Nice tool, VERY BAD company profit policy. After the new update the food search responses extremely very slow while I am connected through mobile data.
Best app for the dietbetic. However, the graphs could be slightly better nonetheless it's gone from 5 stars to 3 due to the Costs. Pensioners and those on benifits simply can't afford these costs. So as a software developer for over 45 years I can not see how the reoccurring costs can be justified. On examination of the following "A wide range of new medical applications are also planned to improve the diagnosis and prevention of diseases that have a significant social impact, such as stroke heart attack and cancer." It appears wrong
Was really good however since a update its keeps saying my account is not verified I use to be a premium customer every time it says my account is not verified all my information is lost. So years of recording has been lost
This used to be an amazing app. So much so I was happy to subscribe when this last update came out, so I could use my tablet as well as my phone. But it's unusable now because it says I have another device in use. I don't, yet, but it crashes when I try to log in. Don't upgrade if you like it. Wish I didn't. Will update if it's fixed. Was a 5 star app. Really should get one now, but I'm trying to be patient while it's fixed. Please, please, please fix. Edit: I did contact support, using the email from this account. That reply was was patronizing. Just make the app work. One more star off. Its getting worse, not better. I SO regret paying. When I didn't, it worked fine. PLEASE FIX THIS. ..
Lots of nice features but some tools and graphs unable to set up and enter data. Not as user friendly for elders. Do like some of the food look ups
This app is amazing! It keeps track of the insulin active in my system, allows me to log what kind of insulin I'm taking, allows me to log my good and recommends an efficient dosing schedule (even suggests how to split the dose!), and it tracks practically every important bit of data that I could submit to keep track of my Diabetes (type 1). It even estimates your a1c based on your BG records and warns you when your numbers are consistently too high. This app is actually making me excited to work harder to control my sugars by making me feel more in control of my health and life.
UPDATE: A couple of updates later, and the food section is back to being useful again! Back to a five star app, now. Thanks for listening, developers! I've been using this app for about a year, and it's helped me gain better control of my Type 1 diabetes. But the latest update has made me change my rating from five stars to three. The food panel is rather frustrating now: When I search for food, I'm given multiple options with the same name, and no way to differentiate between them. Also, without being able to identify some specifics about the food before selecting it, I'm left adding foods and then removing them after I discover that it wasn't the right one. Often, selecting a food brings up the option to input how many servings I've eaten, but there is no explanation of what a serving is. One cup? Four ounces? Seven pieces? Or whatever the serving size is on the side of the package? I end up just picking things, reviewing them on my food list (where I can see more details), and then removing and re-adding them in the proper amount. It's so much more time consuming than it used to be.
This app is extremely helpful for monitoring my sons diabetes. Pay the extra for the premium version, it is worth it. It will let you plug in all the values for managing the diabetes and calculate how much insulin to give based on the current reading and food you input. Plus it will synch across multiple devices.
Finally a diabetes app that let's me search for foods and add them right within the app AND keeps a running total of carbs and calories for the day! Now I don't have to pay Fitness Pal $11 a month just to track nutrition. However, the app does not always define how much "one serving" is, and this definitely needs to be fixed. In some items you get a choice of cups, grams or ounces, but that's rare. Also would like those daily carb and calorie totals to be kept as part of each day's log, but they disappear the next day and I have to search the charts. At risk of being demanding, I'd like to see a daily glucose average, also. Overall, the best app I've ever used. You can see your day at a glance. Thanks!
I like this app and lot, it is very thorough at tracking my diabetes, however it is dirty pool to take away features with an update! Prior to the Diabetes:m analytics roll out I could automatically synchronize both my tablet and my phone for free. Now that's a "premium" feature. I can still sync the data but logging one device in causes the other device to log off. I'll probably continue to use the app but will forever find it upsetting that what once worked so seamlessly is now another proverbial poke in the finger! Had I known that I would loose functionality I would never have "upgraded."
A little hard to get used to but then it's fantastic! Australian food database would make it 5 stars!
Now a subscription app. Still the best I have used. Worth the subscription. Does outstanding job, especially the reports, and the food database.
Love the new app and the addition of the iOS so my son can have dexcom and diabetes m on same phone. Keep up the good work
Amazingly simple to use. I haven't used the food calculator...just lack of learning about it. I do recommend this app.
Just as I was thinking about buying it, in came subs. I'm finding custom categories annoying with every update the ID order alters which isn't helpful when my categories are arranged time slots. The default ones don't work well for me, especially time related ones because my day/night hours vary. I do however like that the app holds more entry info than others I've looked at.
It's a great app.to monitor glucose and blood pressure. Just getting started with it. So haven't even used most of it, but it great so far.
Useful and handy. If it stopped logging you out that would be ideal, along with an easy way to upgrade your subscription
Very easy to use and add other information too. I like the widget app to keep info on one of my screens at all times.
I am using the application for some time on my smartphone HTC one m8 with 6.0.12 software, good one and great to have a sync with my iPad
Great app, only using it for a week, it's probably going to replace Diabetes Journal, which I have been using for years
Just started using this app and it is very useful for monitoring all my readings in my aim to have better control of my diabetes
Subscription, don't buy anything. I paid once. I wanna refund!!!
Really been helpful on guidance of my sugar levels and making sure I go the right way!
Thank you, Sirma Medical, for making my life 1000x easier and reverting back to the old features in the new update. Great app.
This app has been incredibly handy for helping keep on top of my blood sugars and insulin
Mainly use it to keep a log of glucose checks.
Can't get any of my info to upload
Love it again
I've used several and what I like the most is data export and back up
Its great, lists everything I need to keep track of.
It's the best app I have seen about glucose control.
I think it's great. A little hard to navigate though.

This is a good app concept, but a lot of bugs making it hard to navigate without freezing up my phone. Other than that it's just what I was looking for to help manage my blood sugar and other info... hopefully new versions figure it out cause I'd like to keep using it.
