Good and is really valuable for beginner

It used to work great last year. They I received a "server error" message. After formatting and starting over with the PI and unistalling and reinstalling the app with no luck, I gave up. So today I decided to try again. Reinstalled the app and loaded the newest Raspian os. Still no luck. It will install the program on the pi but them I get "server error".

I seem to be able to access my devices on the computer, but this app is throwing a constant "Server Error" message... It is basically useless on my phone. Update: The developer fixed the server errors, so the app works great now. I'm looking forward to seeing support added for fr more sensors, particularly the DHT22. Thanks

Hi there, this seems to be awesome app. However, I am new to raspberry pi and Cayenne. Trying to connect with raspberry however it is not getting connected. I have already sent mail to email id you guys has mentioned in other reviews..

Amazing service, but lately this app is almost useless - it needs daily cache (or even more, whole data with account) purge, otherwise it says it can't connect to server. If accidentally it does connect, it doesn't show projects or even devices... Please fix that, because it is useless this way on otherwise great service.

After using this application for over a month, I am going to start looking into something else. Named relays revert every so often to their original names which throws off scheduling. I was using this as a diy aquarium controller, controlling about 180watts of led lighting and the co2 feed to my tank. Once schedules broke for the 5th time, I switched to manually switching everything from my phone. This worked for a while until I was plagued with "server cannot load data" errors and nothing showing up once it did load into the device. I have cleared cache every time and am still fighting with this. The saving grace is that the website works for turning everything on and off but requires me to drag out my laptop first thing in the morning and before going to bed. I would love to troubleshoot this with the dev as I am a Network Systems Engineer specializing in hardware/software interfacing and could help.

Cayenne is awesome but I am unable to select my pi. It is getting searched by the app but I am unable to select it. Please help me out

Far easier than the alternatives. The only thing missing is widgets.

Doesn't support the dht22 natively. I will try it again when they support that sensor. Also seems to have cache issues.

Reports unusually high ram usage. Been using this for a few weeks and it displays ram usage 3-4x what I get with all other method of monitoring. Is this normal? How does it query Mem usage?

Does this support lorawan. website has the support, but app doesnot give option for lorawan.

It said setup may take up to 10 min. I let it run on background for about an hour ....Still at STEP 1: installing libraries.......

UPDATE: Contacted by support (Rob) and convinced to try again. I did and it was smooth - no issues and it is AWESOME. Previous: (original issue: downloaded the application, set up an account, and followed instructions to locate my pi 3. The app found my pi 3 and took a few minutes to configure. The dashboard looked OK, but when I looked closely I noticed the gpio pins were labeled incorrectly. I ran a quick program on my pi to flash an LED and BAM - WOULD NOT WORK.)

After persevering, this makes things so easy. No need for webiopi or messing about with libraries. Setup a pi, add some sensor or relays, then connect with Cayenne. It can even be configured with 'if' 'then' statements. Love it.

something weird has happened to my relay board. the channel 8 on my relay keeps on flickering and switches simultaneously. i have completely rm everything and the problem is still there. i have to reflash my sdcard for that

After a couple weeks running well, suddenly apps error on the first screen. It said "Server Error". But the app can resolve my Projects
