My Council Services UK & IE for Android
App seems to work great previous complaints about photos ot attaching seems to be resolved i was able to register and report and issue with photos in under 2 mins .. ideal Visuals are a little clunky but workable
Doesn't seem to have anything to do with bug fixes or performance improvements or be required by the functionality of the app. Rather, it looks like you are selling our data.
The location selector is very poor. Now using another app instead.
Can't get past selection of council
When submitting a report if you take a picture direct from camera or from your gallery the app forces close. Without pic seems to work though. Please fix. It's a good app apart from above problem.
I've had to install the app on a new phone, and now when I choose a photo from gallery or try to take a photo when reporting fly tipping the app crashes. Nexus 5.
I was trying to report litter in my parents Street, every time I try to add a photo it just switches off!
As soon as local council is selected of days "spotted working" bloody useless!
The application starts and the requests your local council details. Upon selecting these, the application crashes. Phone using Android 6.
Crashes every time after I put in the local council details.
Works pretty well but the initial report text entry is very poor. It is entered only via a single line which makes reading and editing very difficult. This entry box should be several lines so the whole text can be read.
Had to uninstall and install again. Now working. Update: 15.6.15....ages ago reported to my Council...nothing received. Reverted to phone. Highways Agency, NO link in app, and email to Council. Hope new version works. Note how long response to my comment 1.11.13.
new version looks a million times better, not used it for a report yet, but looks very slick and easy to use
Makes submitting and monitoring reports easy
I reported an abandoned car on an unnamed single track road, so used map to pin point exactly where it was (very handy tool). But 4 days later no response & car was still there. So phoned council (number out of date) & not only did they not receive the report, the reference number I had was not recognised format & they've never even heard of the app. So had to answer same questions again & try to describe where it is: "between farms". Good in theory, but this app clearly does NOT work in South Lanarkshire.
Try taking a look at the a East Devon District Council's for how to sign up/ design an app!
Nice idea just wish it worked???
Needs a bit more work
Can't even remember someone's log in details. Stupid app
Keeps telling me the password link has expired. Must of tried a dozen times , have now given up . Also the map shows my local council being around 80 miles away from where they are. Pity developers can't get it right and also inform councils that this thing is here. 1 star at a push. It's taken nearly 3 years for the developer to respond . No chance of me ever downloading this again
Nice app, but can no longer attach a photo as evidence from existing imagery on my device (I. E from library/gallery) - Nexus 7. Please fix.
Tried it for Herts Council. Seems a bit flaky. A lot of the road works icons won't tell you what they are and those that do don't display properly. The large item collection option toik me to a Rhonda council web page?! A good idea in theory but badly executed. Maybe phone and email is still the best way to communicate with your council?
This a very good apparently I like it I can work. With this
But very poorly executed. Lack of features, design and execution smacks of unimaginative lacklustre programming. Having worked for local council though, I am not surprised. Come on devs, get out of the Windows 95 era and into the touchscreen era!
Makes selecting a title compulsory and does not include Ms as an option, whilst including various unusual options eg. Sir, Lord, Lady. This is really simple to fix - there's no reason for title to be compulsory and it's easy to add another option.
Excellent application, easy to use and a great handy tool
Only real problem is that viewing reported cases isn't as easy as it could be.
It is a great idea and the app does work and gets the job done but the quality of the UI is poor. Touching the back button for example just takes you back through every screen u previously visited, it should stop at the home screen and exit, instead it takes you back through the previous report, then home and around again. The icons, graphics and text are also poorly placed and sized. All in all far from professional!
Where's the close app button?
Serves no purpose if your council doesn't respond.
Ran it last night, it tried to get my location this morning and I hadn't run it. This is unsolicited data collection.
I have used this app to report a couple of issues which have been resolved promptly. Would definitely recommend this app. Easy to use and gets the job done.
Sound... and what's more once you have captured the mishap / mischief and submitted it the council has to act as there is an electronic audit trail.
What a great way to interact with your council. I've not yet made any reports but the info side of things is good. I like the access to roadworks and traffic info. I'm not sure why some people have only given it 1 or 2 stars and then no comment on why.
Can't even remember someone's log in details. Stupid app
Used it for reporting bad potholes and broken traffic lights...seems to work.
Working good !100% submission rate so far for Birmingham City Council. no faults found!
Good,
Cannot read roadworks info as it does not appear in the info window. When it does it runs off edge of screen without ability to scroll.

I was trying to report litter in my parents Street, every time I try to add a photo it just switches off! Update 23.1.17 Made a report with picture today and all went smoothly, so have added another star.
