MyCase for Android
Does not track time. Does not track tasks. Minimal client/case management features. Disappointing for 2017.
Seriously sucks! There aren't notes on Android what good is this if I cannot read or update notes?!?!?
Not enough functionality yet
This app is awful
Please add.
It basically may as well not exist.
I previously used a widely used application to manage my practice that was named after an ancient Chinese calculator. It was just as hard to use! Mycase has literally done away with the complexities of trust account and billing management in an app that actually works and is intuitive to use right from the start. Great customer service and feedback is reflected in periodic updates to the program.
The entire reason for this app and software was to ease billing, but this app has no timer and apparently no method to manually input activities and billing on the go. What's the point!?! I can't even clear messages as "read." Are these complaints being addressed? Time entries are available through multiple time-intensive steps. . . .
I can't add or even see my tasks on the droid, and I can't search...very frustrating to know I could do this on my old phone...all updates should be equal. Just lame.
Does not have functionality of PC version. App routinely fails to allow access to calendar, cases and contacts.
I love MyCase on my PC and I pay for the service for my staff and myself for that reason but they should really be ashamed at the lack of effort that has been put into this app. If they outsourced their android development, hire someone else and if it was done in house they should fire whoever is responsible. Adding insult to injury the apps for IOS are very good and continue to receive updates that add features and usability while Android users are better off using their mobile web browsers over this app. Given the number of Android users versus Apple users it really shows poor decision making on behalf of MyCase to just take a crap on the largest segment of the mobile market.....
You can see your activity feed, but you can't really do anything in the app. I find myself loading mycase in chrome on my phone because the app does so little.
This is not user friendly, I have to go through a series of motions just to get the calendar to pull up in court. It's embarrassing and difficult when I'm pressed for time and trying to get dates. I would delete this app entirely if I had the choice.
This app is great on my IPad, but it sucks on my Galaxy phone. It is as if the app was developed for IPhone or IPad only and they don't care about all the droid users. They need to fix this or they are going to lose a lot of people using their product.
This was supposed to make it so I am not up till 2am working on billing, but there is no time tracking in this app... so much for more time with my kids. Fix this ASAP.
Please add tasks, timer, better path to documents, case search and most of all the ability for clients to have an app.
My attorney uses this. Why isnt there a client version? The webpage doesnt have a mobile version and the app doesnt allow clients to use it.
MyCase is great on the PC. Absolutely BLOWS for Android.
Can only see your own calendar, not any other employees
As others have stated, prepare to be underwhelmed by the features here. My law partner is an apple guy and his app beats mine hands down. The firm is thinking about switching case management software based on the horrible droid app.
Mobile App needs work. No ability to edit existing contact/calendar items.
Hard to be paperless with a busy criminal docket when you can't see your notes. Huge missing function. Tasks would be nice also. It is all there in the iPad app.
Some of the necessary features are not even an option for the app. Disappointed.
Love Mycase but the app is horrible. The case information disappears after a few and have to reinstall to get it back up. Also the app features are very limited to time entry.
Cannot see Client names or case names. Difficulty pulling up cases to add time.
MyCase treats Android users like second class citizens. MyCase put all of its resources into developing its iPhone App, while Android users get the leftover scraps. Very disappointing. Common sense functions you can perform on the iphone App (like adding tasks) I can't do on my top of the line Galaxy S7 Edge. Thanks a lot, MyCase, for treating Android users like second class citizens. Very frustrating.
It's good for quick information access if you need something brief, but it continually fails to load cases/matters when you try to add time. You can't add notes, can't upload documents, add cases or clients, and it's still super glitchy. I love MyCase, but this app is so limited it's basically a self-updating spreadsheet of case information on the fly - when it works.
It works a little better since the update. Can do billing on the fly but no search function.
This app has a long way to go still. All the things that I'd like to on the road I'm not able to (e.g. billing, notes, look up tasks, add client's / cases etc.). What's the point. I wish this app was more like the Ipad version. MyCase IT people please work on this soon!
Can only see your own calendar, not any other employees
Update 10/2/15 MyCase still hasn't done anything to this app other than minor bug fixes and changing their logo. Still can't add a note, new case, contact, can't do billing other than adding a time entry, still crashes sometimes. Since it's been over a year and none of these fixes have happened, despite MyCase saying in April 2014 they're working on an update to be released soon. I'm reducing to 1 star. And thinking about switching to Clio, which is too bad because I love the MyCase web interface. :( .......... [ORIGINAL REVIEW]: Can't add a note to a case, can't add a new case from the road (vital for lawyers riding the circuit), can't even add a contact. The only things you can add are a message and a calendar entry. At least on the ios app you can add a note which I found to be extremely useful. Also needs billing support, there's no reason they can't add time tracking and invoicing, and integrated credit card processing. MyCase thinks we only want an app that provides info, I'm here to tell them they're wrong.
I like being able to quickly access data and documents on the fly, however, it's frustrating that I can't add clients from the app. Also, I can't access any billing content including invoices.
What's the point if you can't see any of the notes?? If I need to check the status of a case on the go, the "notes" section is pretty important. Please add this into the next update. A search function would be nice too.
Error reads client user not authorized but it's the same log in I use to get directly into information the lawyer sends me via email.
For instance we should be able to add quick tasks in the app so when can make notes right when they occur to us.
Haven't been able to use it since i got it. Sucks.
No advantage to this app if it can't support clients on the go. Stupid limitation.
Can't access the calendar properly. Unable to see future events or detailed information.
What is the point of an app that does not provide the main functions of the service? The dashboard will tell you that you have tasks, but there is no way to view your tasks. How does one assign new tasks to employees in the field and then have them check the tasks off as complete? The answer? With this app, you don't. Moreover, it does not show messages or events from the server. I auppose it would show ones that I enter on the phone, not no sync? No access to client contacts? No time clock? No files?

Even the ability to access the unbearablly limited app features on my Galaxy S7 is hit or miss. Sometimes cases and clients are missing entirely and many times the app won't even load. I wish I had a PC app instead of having to pull up browser and log in.
