About Us
Seven Seventeen Credit Union is the third largest credit union in Ohio, and among the largest in the country. Ten branches in five Northeast Ohio counties serve more than 76,000 members.
It is unlikely that this degree of growth could even be fathomed in 1957 when Seven Seventeen was founded as a financial cooperative to provide hourly employees at Packard Electric with an opportunity to promote thrift and borrow money at reasonable rates. And yet, the growth that did ultimately occur was based on that initial founding principle of "people helping people."
Technology has advanced, new delivery channels have developed, and the breadth of financial products and services has widened; and yet, the focus of the employees and leadership of Seven Seventeen is the same today as it was in 1957. The sole motivation of the organization was and is to proactively and innovatively meet the financial needs of members in a manner that exceeds their expectations.
To ensure long-term survival of the financial cooperative, the Seven Seventeen leadership has had to make some key decisions over the years such as expanding membership to the salaried employees of Packard, then to the employees of other businesses, and ultimately to the wider communities we serve such that anyone who lives works, worships or attends school in Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Portage, or central Stark Counties can now open accounts with Seven Seventeen.
That diversification has provided the growth and economies of scale that are necessary to provide a diverse menu of loan and deposit products, as well as new and enhanced services such as telephone and online banking to meet the financial needs of members. And, due to those changes, Seven Seventeen has not only survived, but thrived.

Now it only logs in to tell me there are no active accounts and my contact information is all gibberish despite trying to correct it.

I love using this app. It's quick and easy to check my accounts and tranfer money between them. The problem is that 1 in 10 times the app will be down so you can't use it. Also, if you open another app or even leave the screen, you will have to log back in. I guess that's okay though because of security, but it is annoying.

This app has all the main functions you need to bank. No complaints just some advise for the programmer / team. While pushing other buttons within the app you should not have to log back in when returning to the account balance screen. When you exit out of the app completely is the only time that is acceptable.

I like 717 Credit Union! Been looking forward to this app. I use their mobile page a lot, now this just made it easier to check my accounts. Lots of other useful stuff too. Thanks!

With the update I like it because I'm actually able to move around the app. Prior to update I was only able to log in, see my accounts, that was it, couldn't log out. I am happy I can do more with my accounts than just see them, I do like the other feature options like find ATM.

I was excited to finally see an app for 717! Installed it, went to use a few days later said there was an update, installed it. There is NO access to banking. You can get locations, rates, etc. Uninstalling , will continue to use mobile. Needs to be fixed!!!!

I have a Galaxy s phone and every time I open the keyboard to type it makes me relogin. Can't see when my bills are due. The app needs work but better then nothing like my other bank
