Great app but don't know if it's just oc transpo or this app but some times the GPS says the bus is a minute away (after waiting for 10 min at the stop) then it bounces to 10 min

I like this app, but where are the express bus routes and timings. I know they're changing in january but we still need the express timings for now :/

I like that it can identify the closest station to where you are. And that it can also be used offline (very important).

It schedules me to arrive an hour earlier than I want. If I ask it to get me there an hour later than I want it works fine but one day there will be no bus for me when I really need it.

Please fix the GPS system on the app. It was the only way to catch my bus and go to work on time. It was the only way to know my bus is coming early or delaying. Fix it please.

Very useful. Compared to other similar apps out there Bus Buddy is by far the best!

GPS stopped working again...

The GPS function hasn't been working for a few days now.

Makes bus travel, my whole day so much easier.

With the advantage that it shows scheduled times when internet isn't available. Note that the 25 December changes are there, they just don't show up until the routes start running. Also note that OCtranspo have recently been having GPS problems which isn't the app's fault. Good customer support too.

When I click map view, it shows me where the buses are, but they do not move at all what so ever. It makes it appear as if the app is frozen or that the buses are just not progressing. I was also at a bus station, waiting for a 96, and when It got to my station the map either did not detect it, or it displayed it as being 10m away. Very frustrating and not accurate.

I can't tell whats wrong w OCTRANSPO or Busbuddy. I've been. Waiting for 10mins. The AP seemed to tell me how late it was not when it's coming. Then that bus disappeared. Now the next bus is late?

Used to be really good in 2015 but 2016 it consistently misses bus times. Not sure what happened but it is definitely not what it used to be.

Was perfect in the past, now I have issues with it shutting down after or during a schedule update

This app was ok until the gps suddenly stopped working. Now it's less useful than just looking it up on google maps.

Each new schedule the download fails and must wait till new schedule change then download fails again. Don't get this app for android

Every time I open this app it shuts down 3 seconds later. This has happened all day.

Why does the GPS not always work even tho the bus is on route. Annd let us check to see the next set of stop times for a bus route even if it's runs are done for the day Ok Buddy?

This app for the past 2 years has been accurate and consistent. Now it misses bus time. As if it is hopping over some bus stop times.

Please do not assume when you are not the phone user. I am hoping that your new upgrade will fix any issues for not only myself, but others with various issues as well ---- The biggest mistake was to upgrade this app. It not only crashes the app, but my entire phone. Very irritated that I must restart my phone just to get it working again. The old app was simple and great. Wish I could undo the upgrade.

But now the program is getting slow or crashing. Not exactly an improvement against previous iteration.

I recommend this app to all Ottawa transit users!

Most apps, when they get updates, have very little to no change. Some get worse after an update. Bus Buddy is worlds better after its recent update. I only thought it was good before. Now it's amazing.

My goto app for catching the bus, would like to see the interface follow more material design standards though.

It definitely simplifies my life.

Very intuitive and reliable

I get a bit the new changes but it's full of bugs and problems . On the main screen the first stop will always refresh even if I am 14km away from it, while the near two stations are not. Also on the same screen the scheduled bus times are not shown and only the GPS ones are. This shows that buses are only 15 min and more away and won't show possible buses on a time stop. Also the new option of buses around your area, the idea is good but it is not working in the app

For the love of Mike, give me the option of paying a few dollars to REMOVE ADS. On principle alone, I'm never going to click them. I already paid to remove them on the iOS version.

So far the best OCTranspo app I've found. It has a very nice feature which I've not found on any of the others. It will display all the arrival times for the routes for a particular stop at the same time. Useful for when a stop has multiple buses going through it and you could take more than one of them. It lists them in chronological order too! No Advertising as well. It has Favourites, of course. I don't know why anyone would use any other OCTranspo app than BusBuddy! GPS hasn't worked for days now. Other Ottawa bus apps connect to GPS, so it's not that.

Great app! At first i had problems with it showing buses that had just passed and by how many minutes I had missed it. I first thought the buses we running late and so waited for the bus. It did not come and the time displayed was increasing until it eventually went away. At one point I ended up waiting a half hour for the next bus for what could have been a twenty minute walk. Take note that if you miss your bus, the displayed minutes changes colour and starts counting up.

Awesome app. I am using this app in my daily routine life and it helps me very much to reach at time to my destination

I like that this app has GPS to see when busses are coming, an easy-to-read interface, and a way to organize your itinerary and favorite busses & stops.

So, when I first got back to Ottawa, this was my go-to app for getting reacquainted with the Oc Transpo bus system. Since then, the GPS tracking has gone downhill fast. GPS showS 2 or 3 mins remaining but the bus never shows up (what bus were you tracking?) and the favourites are finicky. Interface is ugly and requires too many taps to get what you need.

GPS not accurate or doesnt show till last min, litterraly. i don't recommend this app. GPS and bus times used to work awesome and i was able to get to the busstop without waiting long. Now its complete

This used to work pretty flawlessly, but now is crap. Missing routes, can't view timetable at stops, can't save favourite routes or stops....Basically useless now beyond route planning, but those can't be saved either.

I use this app every day. The GPS worked flawlessly up until a recent update, the app no longer updates to show routes that are on time or late...Very frustrating, I've missed many buses this week due to this issue. Fix the GPS for a 5 star please!!

I just came from apple where the app worked fine. This app sucks for android, despite saving my favourite stops none of them save.

Features are good, but the app is very very very very slow. Frustrating.
