MyAlarMap

MyAlarMap is a SOCIAL SECURITY & SAFETY SYSTEM.

MyAlarMap allows you to run S.O.S. only tapping a button: the requests for help are shown on a public map of the site www.myalarmap.com, sent as SMS to up to 5 telephone numbers. In addition, MyAlarMap sends a push notification to devices near you, so you can get immediate help from people around you.

Also, thanks to MyAlarMap, you can quickly find an emergency number from any country and contact it directly. Moreover, thanks to MyAlarMap, you have in your pocket a siren can be activated by pressing a button.

IMPORTANT
To be rescue, the other people must know your position, so it's extremely important to allow MyAlarMap to use the GPS!
Otherwise your coordinates will be 0,0.

HOW TO MAKE A TEST
To test that everything is working, send an alarm message that contains the word '*TEST*' (uppercase, without blank or spaces but between * ). The request will remain visible for 5 minutes, after will be canceled. Nobody will receive push notification, so you don't create false alarm.

With MyAlarMap they can send messages of S.O.S. and if someone is near enough they will be rescued.

www.myalarmap.com is a website where anyone can see the requests for help: to use it you do not need to have the app.
In this way anyone can help those in need!

The App obviously makes more immediate help because also uses the Push Notification, but through SMS anyone can answer and give you a hand!
