Tri Race Tracker for Ironman

I just paid R144 for an app that's not working! It's not tracking the athletes and that's what's its supposed to be doing! I received texts saying that the people I'm following are already on the bike but according to this app, they haven't even started. You better fix this otherwise I want my money back.

This app is very good. It is not a live tracker!! It makes guesses to help you anticipate your athlete. This app gets time data from IM and makes guesses for you, and it does it pretty well! IM timing chip does not provide live GPS positioning. If you want that, go rent a Beacon (feature request: integrate 3rd party location to map! [If available]). It is a little pricey, but the dev does allow family sharing.

My advice is dont bother paying to upgrade as I did. I expected to be able to keep track of competitors. It was miles out. I should have saved my money and used free version. Oh and before admin says I was using free app by mistake. Not so I deleted it first.

Did not help me track the athletes I was following data was way off. My athlete was on bike and still didn't have swim info. Very slow and not worth the 10. Last year's app was much better. I am very disappointed!

Too slow updates. The ironman website is faster. Searching one athlete works fine, but if you change search criteria for a second re-search for another athlete the search fails. Worst of all is that you have to pay for it. Removing!

Even though I had my fiance starred to favorites, I still had to search for him each time I opened the app. But I liked the information I received... Other spectators would ask for help tracking their athletes because Ironman tracker was down during IMBoCo but this tracker was working.

Feature request: auto add to favorites a specific participant. Would be nice if it gave total division participants and total participants. UI is slow/laggy

Can't believe I have paid for this app. Added all of my favorites for a second time after uninstalling and reinstalling it because after a few hours they all disappear. The notification still work but it's not what I paid for. I suggest u think twice before downloading. I would actually like my money back as I'd rather use the Ironman website. Who ever designed this app I suggest u sort it out as I'm not the only one this has happened to. 2016 Busselton ironman and no I haven't mixed it up with the free app

Incredibly inaccurate geo tracking which was the function I wanted so upgraded as tracking 5 people. It has been next to useless. Should have stuck to the free one and guessed locations!

I thought by buying this version it would be better than the free one. It is an absolute waste of time and money.

So we pay $10 and we still get ads?? Getting it coming and going, I see. Better live up to the price for tomorrow's race.

Awesome for quick and easy race result look ups after the race. Isn't completely accurate during the time the race event is occurring (real time). After the event it is awesome though! The app does work real time, it will just be off in calculating split times (shows total times).

Great way to support my fellow athletes. I have a new phone and had the upgrade on my last phone and I'm having issues with upgrading again. It reverts back to the basic version.

Was able to see our friend 5 times in Quebec... I convinced at least 20 people to spend 6.99 . Not perfect but worked !

The geo tracking doesn't work and is the MAIN REASON I paid for the upgrade!! Bitterly disappointed!!!! And the Iron Man is happening as I type this review!!! Disgusted

I was really disappointed that this nearly €12 app was in no way better than the free app (accuracy, fast and prompt time updates along the teack). I feel really tricked and would like to be refunded for my money.

The app did not update at all during the race! Even now while my fiance is on the bike, I have no idea how far he is! A complete waste of money. The geo positioning states that he is still at Orient Beach!

Live track does not work! Data would not upload even though GeoTrack has my athlete almost done on the bike. GeoTrack also showed my athlete on the bike 20mins after the race started, which is impossible. Both the race data and GeoTrack has not updated in 3hrs. DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!!

Doesn't work. My sister finished her race and was sending me selfies before the app gave us anything. No split times. Her kids were super disappointed. Map is basically useless. I'm gonna get my $10 back.

with everything it's great when it works and really annoying when it doesn't - over all the best one available at this time- may need updates to keep up

I paid $10 for this app and it did not work during the race. The system crashed and never did come up to full service.

Rubbish, worked for 30 minutes then no tracking. Not worth anything let alone £10

Paid for the geo location feature which didnt work. How do i get a refund? Rip off.

The geographic tracking didn't work at all. That was why I wanted the app. The notifications were much later than the usual sms subscription.

During the swim and into the first phase of the bike, the app loaded all the stats fine but then halfway into the bike and the whole run- it wouldn't load or refresh my competitors stats. I really liked the GPS component - where you can see physically where they are on the course... But then it stopped loading, at crucial points in the race. Even with its flaws, I'll still use it to track future competitors.

Vineman 70.3. Hasn't updated for over 2 hours. At least I have a big black banner that says "Experiencing long delays. Position may not be accurate." My wife finished her bike ride 1.5 hours ago. Still shows her not yet finished. Would be a nice pay app if we got what we needed...Accurate location data. I guess I'll go stand at the finish and hope to not miss her since I have no clue where she is.

Total disappointment during IMAZ. App was worthless over half the day.

Failed to load any athlete information during the Austin 70.3. I kept trying it for the first couple of hours before giving up on it

Paid for app and it doesn't track on map, very disappointed! Don't waste your money! Won't load any athletes for Austin 70.3.

Didn't work please refund, not satisfied with product because want to check myself not have to go through you just refund money.

Did not work at all at Ironman Arizona. Very disappointed and do not recommend purchasing.

Totally gave me wrong information and said my athlete finished bike but they had 2 hrs to go. I want a refund!

Takes way too long to refresh. Athlete had finished but was only showing first run split.

The GPS works terribly and is very delayed. I want my money back.

Trying to get data right now from Austin 70.3 and a get nothing.

I really like the push notifications so I don't have to keep checking the Ironman page.

Can't think of anything that needs to be added to make it better
