El Festival Internacional de Creatividad Digital y Música MUTEK [ES], única filial europea de su homónimo en Canadá, toma el relevo y continua con el año de aniversario global de la familia MUTEK, celebrando su 5º aniversario, tras la estelar 10ª edición de MUTEK.MX en la Ciudad de México del pasado octubre, a la que seguirá la muy esperada edición del 15º aniversario del festival original MUTEK Montreal a finales de mayo de 2014.

La sede del festival para esta 5ª edición será el Convent de Sant Agustí, que con su mezcla de arquitectura histórica y espacios modernos servirá de nuevo como principal punto de información. El Convent acogerá además, el programa diurno de conferencias del Festival: Digi_Section (sesiones Q&A, talleres, demos). MUTEK [ES] contará también con sus ya colaboradores habituales, Nitsa Club y Moog para su programación de noche.

El anfiteatro del Institut Français albergará la serie de conciertos visuales A/Visions, esta institución apoyará el festival con las presentaciones de 1024 Architecture y Nev.Era + Xarlene, fortaleciendo los vínculos entre artistas catalanes y franceses.

El programa del festival MUTEK [ES] tiene como misión para este 2014, transmitir el espíritu y los objetivos de la red MUTEK a lo largo de estos 15 años construyendo puentes entre la creatividad y la tecnología. MUTEK [ES] is 5 years old with a great display of national and international artists and a full day program: workshops, streaming, lectures, debates, ...

The International Festival of Digital Creativity and Music MUTEK [ES], only European subsidiary of its namesake in Canada, takes over and continues the year of global anniversary MUTEK family, celebrating its 5th anniversary, after stellar 10th edition of MUTEK . MX in Mexico City last October, to be followed by the much anticipated 15th anniversary edition of the original festival MUTEK Montreal in late May 2014.

The venue of the festival for this 5th edition will be the Convent de Sant Agustí, with its mix of historic architecture and modern spaces again serve as the primary point of information. The Convent also host the conference day program Festival: Digi_Section (Q & A sessions, workshops, demos). MUTEK [ES] will also feature his usual collaborators, Nitsa Club and Moog for programming at night.

The Institut Français amphitheater will host the concert series of visual A / Visions, this institution will support the festival with performances by 1024 + Xarlene Nev.Era Architecture and strengthening links between Catalan and French artists.

The festival program MUTEK [ES] for this mission is 2014, convey the spirit and objectives of the network MUTEK along these 15 years building bridges between creativity and technology.
