Default Music Player

This is a pretty good app. It plays the music at good quality and organizes your music, except not in playlists, which is one of the complaints I have about this. It also takes a long time to make a playlist (you have to add the song one by one by holding down, you can't select all or something like that). Plus there are banner ads at the bottom but those don't really bother me. Otherwise, it's very good and I would recommend it.

I've loved this basic music player app for years! The ads are not in the way at all, and everything generally runs super smoothly!! Tho it would be extremely nice if I could save playlists to the SD card or something, aswell as like... have a search bar. That one seems pretty obvious >.> But yeah, those two thinks keep me from voting a full 5☆ review. Otherwise it's super slick and useful!

Guys, stop hating on just because it's not a downloader. The name is Default Music PLAYER ( not downloader ). This app is seriously the only app I like using to play music. It's very simple and easy to create playlists. Use other apps to download and use thia one just to listen the music. Keep on with the great job!

So far the output is not less to excellent. Tools to this app like Settings, and other related controls missing..However am satisfied Using this Player its next to Poweramp Player... I recommend it suitable for downloading for people addicted to quality music players. 5 stars.

I love this app so much. I just got a new phone and all of my songs I saved on my SD card and I transfer it to this app which works great put I can't find my old music downloader, It's called Download Music For Free. It's on my old phone but when I check the Play Store, I can't find it. Know every music downloader I see is terrible, the one I had I loved it and had no problems with it. Either way I love this app, I hope I can find a good music downloader

Hello creators of this app. I have a problem that needs to be fixed. I had this app for a good while now but now I cannot choose a song as my ringtone, it keeps ending asking me to send a report. Please fix this. Thanks

I used to be able to download songs on my phone to listen to in the gym. It won't works. It says there is no songs in music player, and then when you type in a song, the search icon disappears and an X appears. Press it and it just vanishes. I need help with this

Maybe one of the better music player apps purely because there are very few Adds and no stupid gimicks. However I would like to add multiple songs to my play lists in one go.. not just one at a time.

When playing music by artist with more than 1 album I can only get 1 album to play. The advertisement space is getting bigger. This is taking more of the device display. Other than those two complaint it is very good. If the adv. get any bigger I will probably get a new player

I just have one thing. In the notifications when the music is playing, the words are white asking with the background. Could you please just change them to black. Thanks

It used to be one of my favourite app. But i changed my device now and when I installed it, it doesn't have any other functionality like equaliser, song share etc. Just plays song. And top of that there are now annoying adds that wasn't there before. Please restore the existing functionality.

I downloaded some music but forgot that I didn't have a player to play it. I keep in seeing this app and I thought I would give it a try. It's the best music player ever :) well besides the ones defaulted onto phones

Everytime playlist is automatically getting deleted after 1 day. don't know what is the issue.. Earlier i was using same app in samsung then it was working fine but now there is issue coming with oppo f1s.

Very nice app but it got some minor aspects like,when you enter any different app the songs stops playing and eventually I have to close the app and replay the song. But the app is awesome if this small bugs are fixed

All of my voice recordings went into this app which was so convenient! The only thing I don't like is that when I create a playlist the songs disappear out of it for some reason. I haven't quite figured out why

pretty ok basic music player. Would like an ad-free version though, crashes occasionally and doesn't seem to see all my files. Like that it remembers playback time for podcasts

Had it for two days before it refused to play songs that were quite literally on my DAD card. I wasn't streaming or using data. I downloaded this a to listen to my music because​ my phone didn't come with an audio application and this doesn't even do the bare minimum of what I would expect from a music app. Which is just to listen to saved songs offline. Which it does not. Deleting immediately. Also the ads are the actual worst thing in existence right after this app and since they operate together this app is basically the absolute worst.

I don't like how intrusive you are with your permission details. Most so called "free"apps are intrusive....uninstalled, I like my privacy.....

I tried this app because the logo is that of the default android audio player I had on my Android 4 and 4.4 phones. I would give it 5 stars, but it doesn't appear to support commands from headsets properly. My Bluetooth headset has play/pause, skip, etc and they don't work with this app, even though they DO work properly with others (Pi Music player, VLC).

Plays music offline, self made playlist but after its already downloaded first. I've used this app for years! Great app! No ads-love it!

Nice app developer... but there's one problem... I use mi3s+ phone and when i download this app There's no search option for song. Please do something and fix it as soon possible..

Cant search for artist n to swipe ur finger is annoying n still time consuming. The older one was better

Recently I had to wipe my phone due to an update error and now I can't find the music that was on here.. I was able to have the music on my old phone to this phone when I bought this phone. I had to reinstall it to this phone before and had no issues retrieving my music. I had years of music and now it's gone.

Had to delete the app and reinstall. Every song it plays stops midway through. What the hell is that? It didn't do that when I first used it. Used to be a great app that ran smoothly. Now, not so much.

It needs a pause, rewind, fastforward and play button. I remember having this app 2 years ago what the heck happened? There's ads all over my phone and no pause, play, fastforward and rewind button; seriously??

I cant change song in notification bar. Some settings are not avail but I love this as using from years. Simple, effective, ads are different Nice app

Small, runs as a background app without crashing or closing. It appears in the drop down menu and doesn't cause other apps to crash when you skip songs. Elegantly designed with simple features that are easy to understand and wonderful to use. You can organize music on your device through the app... finding duplicates was my greatest frustration. This apps lists all the same songs, given the name starts the same, beneath each other and then I can decide which artists versions I prefer to keep. The best app!

Even through the updates, the now playing section (where you control the music) opens up in a separate window, which takes a few seconds to open. In addition to that, the swipe down notification does not let you pause, or fast forward or anything. This means effectively you cannot control your music from lock screen, and that if you need to do a quick pause or fast forward, you need to wait 5 seconds for both windows to open up at least, or add additional time to unlock if you're at lock screen. Fix these and it will be 5 stars.

Used to use this app everyday. It won't even open now. I've Ben having problems since the last update. Can you please help with this. I really want to leave 5 stars, and a good review. I do really like this app, but now I cannot use it anymore. Thank you.

I have to say that when they leave the coming soon picture after they release the app you know they dont care about the app. Has anyone recieved an email or a comment back on help? No? Because they already forgot the app themselves and they are just making money off it

After an update, there's a pop up asking us do we really want to exit the app and everytime we have to say yes. This is very irritating. If I just want to exit the app I should be able to press that back button that's all but this prompt is very irritating. I loved this app. Plz fix this.

No adds,simple to use.i can see what I have downloaded, never gives any issues, I have been using for a good 3 12 years makes everything simple <3 please don't change anything!!
