Shout out to you guys. Awesome app, very easy to use & best I've had yet. No complains Everything PERFECTION!!!! Absolutely perfect, I can't hide my ecitement. Please make album art extractable, so can be used in another audio file aside that, fitting in art covers goes in seamlessly unlike other app that will force update (very annoying)

It comes in handy when you want to edit a song title or an artist in your library. It also works well if you use MP3 Converter(Flvto) for music too. The downside is that it can be very buggy. It changed the order of my tracks on some my albums. It says it's track number one, but it's at the bottom of the album, not the top. Also, for some albums, it wouldn't let me change or edit the artist for some reason. I think it's a really good app, but don't expect it to be perfect.

I keep all my music on my phone locally. My whole library is in iTunes on my computer, so I use iSyncr to sync everything to my Galaxy S7. iSyncr is excellent, but not all my artwork came over. Star Music Tag Editor enabled me to retrieve all the artwork I was missing, as well as help sort some of the albums that were out of order when they came over to my phone. I don't usually write reviews, but this app is an excellent app for organizing local music. Very impressed!

Ive never ever bothered to write an opinion of an app but for Star Music Tag Editor I feel like I have to. Because it says every. single. thing. It says it does, is easy to use, has every feature you're looking for and every feature you're not looking for and it updates the data instantly, something all the apps I tried never did. It's just the best, stop searching. And special thanks to the creators you're my heroes ♡♡♡♡

I used to love this app because it was so easy but now it no longer keeps the album artwork up. Eventually, it'll delete the artwork on its own, then you're forced to do the process all over again. Star Music Tag Editor has become a huge problem rather than a benefit.

Its all great! Really! Except one thing. It wont save. Its great, does everything but save and i mean... whats the point in that? If u can sort this out, ill use this happily and forever and leave something more worth ur while. Srsly, dont waste ur time getting this unless they fix this

this app was great in general until recently. the changes just won't save no matter how many times i tried. and once they are saved, it changes the rest of my songs as well making them all under the same album and there's no way to undo all these. artwork cannot be saved as well, it's always getting removed. getting annoyed with this

Works great on my S7. Would get 5 Stars if it worked with all my songs. Instead I give it 4 Stars for working on roughly 80% of the songs I have on my phone. Still leaves atleast afew hundred that won't work but thats better than having thousands of songs under 'Unknown'. I think the ones I can't get to work were mostly downloaded with the same app. I'm thinking I will just redownload them with a differrent app the next time I'm bored with Wifi.

It's a great app. Allows me to keep everything organized instead of a bunch of random hypens, music notes and symbols throughout my song titles. Only problem I have with it is that there are often days where, for no explainable reason whatsoever, it will absolutely refuse to save. It will recognize I'm hitting the button to save the changes, but it won't do anything. And then it just fixes itself for no reason later the same day or the day after it started.

It was 5* months ago. But the recently, the last update came ads. It became harder to use because of it. I don't mind ads at all, once upon a time I even welcomed ads on my lock screen. But the ads that were on the bottom of the page always move up to where the keyboard is, made it difficult to copy and paste text. I don't mind the full screen ads, but you shouldn't have to deal with ads inside the program. If you need to use ads to continue to make apps fine so be it, but don't double down.

Especially if you're looking for something easy to use. The "help" tab was useless, it doesn't tell you how to use this app. Played around with it for a while & couldn't get it do anything I wanted. Wouldn't even save anything. Wish I understood what the other reviewers did that made it so easy for them. Using a Samsung Galaxy S7.

Doesn't pick up all music. The folder list just lists a few folders, not all and not all music is present in them. Interestingly enough, it does pick up folders in an attached USB device but again, not everything. It would be better if the folder list let you select where you wanted to pick your music from via a file manager. App is quite unusable as it is.

Great! Just one issue. I have one deluxe album that has 18 songs (including acoustic versions) but the 17th and 18th song appears at the top instead of the bottom. Whenever I try to edit the music tags of the 17th and 18th, it won't get saved.

Crashes constantly. Grammer needs improvement. Will not do bulk search it hung up for 45 minutes until I killed it. I thought it was searching for album art covers but it did not. In manual mode you constantly have to select the search options. If you have multiple songs from one album it will not allow you to select the art cover unless you change the album title for each song. Go figure. I have been working on this for 2-hours and have managed to do 37 songs. Will look for and try another app.

Most of my songs were changed to the same album and artist when I transferred them from my computer to my phone, but with time and this app I was able to fix the songs. This is a phenomenal app! I love the auto search feature for the album cover. I seem to have bug on my side of the app where every once in a while none of the music will display, but all I have to do is close the app from my task manager and it works great; I have to do this periodically, but it's not too much of a problem! For what this all offers, it is amazing and I highly recommend it. :)

Keeps telling me it camt read the media file even tho it's already downloaded to my device. The interfaces are working perfect just won't let me save any changes I make to tge songs.

Very good to change the titles on songs downloaded off youtube. Only issue is that it requires an album title when renaming songs and the auto search feature for album covers is kinda bad, as it will give no results even though when I Google it I get millions of results. Over than that it's great

Someone online suggested this app to me, and I'm so happy they did. It works great, and keeps my music library neat. The only problem is even after adding the date to each song, it still won't show up. It'll just say "".

I used to LOVE this app. Absolute perfection, worked perfectly and easily. However, since the update, I've noticed a lot of bugs. The app always saves artist names with something extra, now. For instance, adding a "the" in front of a band name, or a period at the end where it's not supposed to be. When I click a song to edit these mistakes away, the don't show up in the editor. But as soon as I save the song, they're back again! Uninstalling and reinstalling hasn't helped, either. Fix this weird bug!

It's a good app that does what it says but it would be a great app if it had an option to edit multiple tracks at once and if it saved the new music file a bit faster. I have noticed that sometimes this app corrupts my songs. For example, my song will work before using this app to change the tag, and after changing the tag, my song won't work and my player would say "Invalid Audio Frame Exception" and I have to download the song again.

It's good but there's a bug though... Sometimes the Album art gets applied to all of my music with no album art, it's so frustrating. And sometimes it destroys the music, it doesn't play anymore. I hope it'll be fixed and I'll give 5 stars for that, but for now I'm still not gonna use it. It's too risky.

I've really liked this app thus far! I especially enjoy the ability to search for album covers both in the database and online. The cover art available is actually pretty expansive, especially considering I listen to a lot of foreign language music, and have still been able to find most album covers I look for. I do wish you could edit more song at once. For example, if you're trying to edit the name of the artist that a few songs are under. It would speed up the process. Right now each song has to be edited individually, and that can get tedious.

Great app. I hated that the songs i had showed a different name and album cover. Now I am able to add the correct album art and fix the song details. I just don't like that there are many ads and that sometimes the app freezes or closes without warning.

Hopeless app, doesn't tag at all. Can't edit the whole album in one go, have to do each track individually which is ridiculous, but yeah it won't add the selected album art and won't change any tags I edit so this is completely useless and I'm uninstalling.

Some audio files, after get edited, they get emptied, which is same thing as the file is deleted. And another thing: it takes a lifetime to save the file. Can you make it faster? And pls fix the problem that the file gets deleted

Google announced it since Android Lollipop. Android Nought is already out and still no sign of Material Design in this app. I really don't want to change my main tag editor app just because of something that can get fixed very easy.

At first, everything was fine. The app works completely fine. Fantastic. And then after quite some time ( a few hour) The app kept crashing and kicked me out A LOT OF TIMEEEEEEE. its annoying. Pls fix this app. Other than that its an amazing app. Totally help me

Finished editing all of my 2000 ish songs in 2 days, added all the appropriate album covers and changed the most important details. The database is very extensive and helpful. BUT the adverts are very annoying, and the app crashed if I did too many in a short time. Also, it wouldn't allow me to edit some songs? Just clicked the save button and it did nothing. Oh well, am satisfied! Great result for being free :)

This app helps a lot with tagging with the songs, except when it comes to lyrics and the genre. The lyrics just don't work and the genre is just a mess. It shows multiple sections of the same genre and puts them in different categories. Also, when you change the genre, the one that was already there remains there. Please fix this.

Nice app to tag music directly from your phone, but....it somehow corrupted one of my music files today. I wasn't sure if the problem was my music player, but I just found out that the file size changed to 0 bytes. I was surprised because it never happened before and it only happened to one of the 10 songs I re-tagged. Interesting bug.

Terrible app. All songs I had under "unknow", all of theme were unable to play on my player after I "edited" them. This app is too complicated to use,and does no good. I recommend you to not download this app.

Edit a song's meta data with ease, change album, artist, title, year etc etc. It also allows you to conveniently pick album art from their online database or use Google to find ones they don't have. There are no automatic detect-the-song-and-fill-in-the-blanks features for as far as I know

Lets you replace the generic cover photo, your device gives to any soundtrack, that doesn't already have one. Or you can remove the coverphoto it does have, and replace it with a picture of your choice. Allowing for greater customisation of your playlist. Reason I've given it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it requires you to name the tracks album, which can be a little annoying when you have multiple tracks to edit. A minor inconvenience, but it feels unnecessary.

Great for sorting out all my wayward mp3s. Easy to use. Great for getting album art or download the cover pic and add it that way. Love it. Occasionally I can't get track 1 to be at the start but no doubt that's my ineptitude. Brilliant app. Thanks

I really dont take my time to rate apps, but this app has been so useful in organising my music and to keep it neat. A bloody big shout out for the team behind the app!! Keep up the good work!!!

I use this app to add album cover art to my music and other pertinent info. Love it. There is a glitching thing that happens every 4-5 ads. The app will turn my screen black and hang. I have to exit the app completely (from my home button) and relaunch it. I haven't used any other features yet.

I don't usually rate apps, but when I do you can tell they're good. Wonderful app, easy to use, I love when my playlist are organized in their respective albums, with their colofur covers, can't stand when they're untitled and stuff. Keep it up!

It's great. I love it. The problem is the album cover went missing whenever I transfer my music files to my laptop. But whenever I transfer my music files to any device, the album is still there. Weird. But overall, I love this app. Thank you so much. It's easy to use and not really complicated

My first gripe is that it won't modify the m4a music files...my second gripe is that there isn't an automatic refresh after modification and save, and you have to hit refresh and scroll down to the title to see if it changed. I'm using an s7 edge and I don't know if it's that but I doubt it...the interface could use a little work but hey it's free so why am I complaining...

Unlike few other apps it can't search for all the tags for a song, like one need to manually enter artist and album name else it will not save the file. If u don't know the artist or album name of the song then this app is of no use. It only searches for image that's too based on album, artist provided by user. For lyrics, u need to search and copy itself it will only paste the text copied from anywhere. So 2 stars as it can not search the very basics, album and artist by itself.
