New Release back on track fully functional on mobile able to keep all tenants happy again .

Was working but now says my gateway isn't connected. I've had this system for about 3 years and it's never been reliable. Sigh....stopped working again. My heating is now stuck on with no way for me change the timers as my gateway box won't connect.

Update Jan 15: Hardware has died, so my unhappy relationship with Uninspire is over. NEST it is, I think. This app is seriously underdeveloped. Muddling presentation of the state of the CH system: I still find it difficult to work out what it's telling me about the programmed on-offs. Also, "scheduled start" is a joke. No response guys?

X70%
by X####:

Update : Green buttons ok on Nexus 9. I've been using it for about a week, no problems but it would be good if the app could display current status e.g. "off until 5pm" Noticed that my Nexus 7 tablet doesn't display the green bars on the switch buttons, while my Nexus 5 phone does....?

Control my heating from my phone. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Excellent system

Easy to set up and use.

Crashes upon startup

Big improvements with the new Android app and widget, still a work in progress but really nice to see things moving forward, keep up the good work

N70%
by N####:

Now frequently crashes on opening. Also, very difficult to adjust temperature "slider" accurately. As mentioned, + and - buttons would be better. (Update: have sent 2 crash reports)

Z70%
by Z####:

The app interface is now better .. except it crashes a lot. Also where is the 'notification' bit mentioned in the update. It is getting better but I would still like notification every time it calls for heat.

Good do with a major update to bring it from the zx spectrum graphics to 2015

It's ok and finally they've changed the ONE and TWO buttons to P1 and P2 which indicate whether you are on Program 1 or Program 2. Sounds insignificant but it confused me a few times as TWO and BOTH mean the same thing and I was pressing the wrong button......Anyhoo......still could do with a page to let you know if your heating is actually ON like it does on the webpage. Also get rid of that slider and just have + - buttons.

Think android users should get a discount as app is massively under developed

Q70%
by Q####:

For over 2 years now I've had this, totally under developed, shocking interface, impossible to program from my phone, not smooth, hasn't saved me any money, been promised a new android app for so long, it really is a joke, don't waste your money, get the nest off play store, it only costs a little more

Q70%

Notifications are needed. As a land lord I would like a notification every time the thermostat calls for heat. Especially on frost/fall back

I have had some issues where I kept losing connection with the gateway but Matthew on tech support has quickly resolved the problem. I'm happy to recommend this product.

If you return to the app, there is no means to request a resync of the remote device state. The app has several times list login credentials which is awkward, but other than these two grumbles, it does the job

Have been using this for 4-5 months now. It works well enough, but the app is seriously underdeveloped. Muddling presentation of the state of the CH system: I still find it difficult to work out what it's telling me about the programmed on-offs.

Good app would be nice if it was updated and improved. New android selection graphics are much easier to use and nicer looking. Temperature history graph would be nice. I have little idea what the selection buttons are and the manual is no help... could do with improving.

Unable to find any issues with this app. It does what I want and expect.

I am able to turn my heating on and off, and see the temperature in my flat, but but the timer, I am finding, is rather unpredictable. This is probably because there is no documentation for it, and the interface is very non-intuitive. So, only 2 stars - however if it was more clearly labelled and documented, possibly 5.

C70%
by C####:

It works OK and allows me to control and program the roomstat. Would be better if it gave a narrative of the State of the Stat like the Web version does. Also needs a landscape mode. For those struggling with documentation it can be found on their website.

L70%
by L####:

Perfect if you work shifts, very easy to install and set up, one improvement would be a widget for my home screen to tell me the temperature at home and an indicator as to if the thermostat is calling for the boiler, also, just an idea, but if the app could access my location it could say, turn the heating on when im within a 5 mile radious of my house, just a thought

C70%
by C####:

The British-made kit is simple to install and does its job very well. The app works well but has an annoying bug where it creates unnecessary copies of its own home page. The UI design could be improved a little and it would be great to see some "smart" features added in future updates. You can try out the app before you buy - just log in with username 'demo' and password 'demo'.

V70%
by V####:

Nice piece of technology. Enables me to pre-warm my weekend home before arriving. Would prefer if the temperature bar indicated the actual value set (as per current temperature indicator) but that's a minor issue. Overall a great app and a British product !

I70%
by I####:

Amazin. Dead easy to install and use and it will save wasted energy on heating the house when no-one is in. And a bonus is that you can have any supplier. A certain british gas supplier does a similar system but you have to use their website to control it and its a more expensive system that they insist on installing

Thermostat installed easily and app running perfectly.
