Bahrain Taxi

The driver arrived quickly, which is the only good thing about the experience. As soon as we started, he decided to take detour, rather than the shortest way (the service was to the airport). Then, he told me he was not familiar with the application and asked that I turn it on (?). On our way he mentioned something about me choosing the wrong service. I had no idea why he'd said that but I realized when he added an additional 2 BD to the bill when we arrived, claiming an extra airport fee. This is not mentioned anywhere in the description of the service! A couple of days later I received an invoice for an amount much lower than what I had paid. I have no idea what went on here but I will probably not this service again.

Rate structure: * It turns out the meter also charges for time spent in traffic, in addition to distance charges. Nowhere have I seen this mentioned in the government rate structure or anywhere else. Perhaps add the full rate structure to your web site and app. * In addition, at the end of the trip, another 1 BD was added for the booking fee. For call centre bookings this would apparently be 2 BD. This is similarly not indicated anywere. App navigation can be made vastly better and more user-friendly: * It's impossible to find pickup places on the map, it contains almost no placenames * The pickup map pointer should snap to the closest known place when close enough, instead of saying "in {some area}" * You don't get the same results in the pickup Places list than you get when opening My location and searching there. E.g. Places might list 'Zgert Cafe' (near The Lagoon, Amwaj Islands), but if you open My location and search for 'Zgert', you only get Zgert, Mumbai, India! This makes it really difficult to find specific places. * Worst of all, the dropoff location only allows a text search! Dropoff location should ideally work exactly like pickup location. * No App Rate button!

The final charge is more than double the initial estimate they give. They also promise cheaper fares than Uber, but they charge much higher.

I used the app 3 times so far and I'm satisfied by the quality of the application as a service app.

GOOD AND BEST APP ever

I've given multiple drivers more than one chance and every single one messes it up. They either go to the wrong location or just don't show up. It confuses me because the app has gps but they all refuse to use it. Also the gps will not let you type on your address it will tell you it's incorrect and then place another address in the bar

Quick response from drivers Haven't gotten a shady driver trying to scan me yet, however once you get to where you're going, you need the driver to make sure that he marked you done or else it will say your on your way for 12 hours and you can't use the app again until out clears out. Please allow riders to mark themselves off as arrived so they can use the app again to get home.
