Aplikasi ini menunjukkan lokasi asal nomor telepon berdasarkan dari Home Location Register (HLR).
Home Location Register (HLR) adalah database pusat yang berisi rincian dari setiap pelanggan ponsel yang berwenang untuk menggunakan jaringan inti GSM.

HLR menyimpan rincian setiap kartu SIM yang dikeluarkan oleh operator telepon seluler. Setiap SIM memiliki identifikasi unik yang disebut IMSI yang merupakan kunci utama untuk setiap record HLR.
Item penting berikutnya dari data yang terkait dengan SIM adalah MSISDNs, yang merupakan nomor telepon yang digunakan oleh ponsel untuk membuat dan menerima panggilan. Home Location Register (HLR) is a central database that contains details of each mobile phone subscriber that is authorized to use the GSM core network.

HLR stores details of every SIM card issued by the mobile phone operator. Each SIM has a unique identifier called IMSI which is the key to any HLR record.
The next important item of data associated with the SIM is MSISDNs, which is the phone number used by the phone to make and receive calls. The main MSISDN is the number used to make and receive voice calls and SMS, but perhaps for the SIM to have other secondary MSISDNs associated with it for fax and data calls. Each MSISDN also is key to note HLR. HLR data is stored as long as the customer remains with the mobile phone operator.
