Take out that annoying startup wave thing. Three times reinstalled this app and it is still crashing on startup and won't load tracker. You've had 2 years to develop this thing for crying out loud! With all the sponsoring from Volvo, this is beyond bad! I've got better, more informative apps, that require less data, have no sponsors and perform flawless. Get real guys, bunch of amateurs you are.

The tracker and news sections are brilliant, but the startup video sequence is tedious and needs to be removed.

Worked for a day, now crashes on startup, even after reinstalling.

I've installed & uninstalled this app 3 times on my LGG6 and it crashes everytime i try to open it.

So far no probs. As far as data usage I'm not sure what all the panicky reviews were all about. After a week the app has used less data than my Android system! Less than 100 MB with equal wifi and data running. Yes no back button is unique but just make sure you close the app after using. Go Vestas!

Works reliably for me. A quick and easy app to keep up to date on the race.

Can't subscribe to any notifications on LG G6, error when trying to save the data. For once one wants notifications but can't have'em...Loooowlz

Fixed crashes on start. Fixed, must be forced closed. Now can't saved get notifications.

Features score 5/5. Usability -10/5. Normal experience: Start, it crashes. Start again, black screen, kill app. Start again. Click tracker in menu, app crashes. Start again, click tracker, wait 30 seconds for tracker. Click winds, wait 45 sec. Pan wait 45 sec. Zoom pinch does not work. Zoom with +. Wait 15 sec and mini zoom. Turn winds off. Wait 45 sec. Click zoom boats. Wait 5 sec. Search exit button... there is none!!! Kill app. Same experience on several devices. How on earth does this app get a 4.2 rating???

Does not have manuals for models sold in Ireland, closest is the UK but the specifications and features are different, especially Sensus

Mediocre worse than 2014 edition

App should really implement the "back" button. There's no reason why the back button couldn't be used to go to the article overview, exit the app and more of such features. The app is quite limited from a User Interface point of view.

This edition's new version of the VOR app isn't an improvement at all. It uses loads of data in the background, it is almost impossible to get an overview of all the coverage going on, and the tracker is very poorly designed. New isn't always better :-(

Was happy with this app until I got a notification saying I'd exceeded my mobile data limit so I checked data usage by app - 650mb just from this app in 4 days. I haven't used it for anything other than check the location of the boats on the tracker about once a day, and mostly on WiFi anyway, so I'm not sure what it's doing in the background. Really disappointed but have to uninstall.

The app for the last edition was miles better than this, it's clunky, you can't close it and data doesn't show properly. The tracker is the worst thing about it. It's stuck in portrait mode, the charts don't load, there's only a 2D mode, no 3D like the old app and there's no playback function to see how the race played out.

Tracking had lots of bugs. Example: when unfolding a boat stats it cannot be folded, it takes the all screen, you can't see the map properly anymore.

At long last the updates on the main page have dates(yay!). The portrait / landscape thing is still unfixed though (boo), surely it can't be *that* hard to show the articles in landscape? We will have to wait to find out if the articles appear in the app quicker than the previous random delays (hmm). Update : set to 1 as it has crazy background data usage. 832mb cellular data used in a week, and that is with me being in WiFi 90% of the time. Disabled background data

Wont open....

The tracker is not visible in the menu. Appears upon restarting the app sometimes.. but not always.. Whats d point if i cant see the positions of the boats.. Solve this..Nw..Leg Zeo underway and i cant keep track

The live feed has not worked for me yet just seems to sit there loading with nothing happening bit of a pointless application without that feature as I am more likely to watch it on YouTube

Once again, the Virtual Eye Tracker has stopped working on Android. It seems like it only works every other day. Do these developers ever test before releasing the app? This is very poor quality control, and bad for sposors of Volvo Ocean Race. If the tracker doesn't work, then I see no reason to use this App.

Tracker works for me but i can also access that by browser. Life at the extreme video doesn't work.
