MsWall is a front-end application for the powerful iptables Linux firewall.
MsWall allows you to restrict which applications are permitted to access your data networks (2G/3G and/or Wi-Fi and while in roaming).
With MsWall you can control traffic within LAN or while connected through VPN.

- Download Busybox by Stericson from playstore
- Preferences - Binaries - Busybox Binary and select System busybox
- Log notification doesn't work currently and some devices nflog doesn't work.

Good app but has one security bug. Bug in 4.9.0: After a reboot, the Custom script is not automatically re-applied. I have to open MsWall, open custom scripts and tap on the OK button to have the custom script work again. A bit of a pain and a security risk if I forget to do this.

Some blocked programs (Gsam battery monitor, Aida64.. possibly others) will show ads only if a google system service is Not blocked. That service has this Description : (Google Contacts Sync. Google Play Services. Google Services Framework. Google Account Manager..). How to block the ads without blocking google services ? However, "Mobiwol" no-root vpn firewall works fine. Note 5 lp5.1.1. Systemless root.

I installed it for a while now. It has made my day. Great app. You won't regret at all. Thanks to the developers. They know the job!

This is the very BEST Firwall. The Wihte-List function ensures that you start out with EVERYTHING blocked at first, including newly installed apps. Then go through the whitelist and enable ONLY what you want! People who say: "...it messed up my..." just don't take the time to understand it.

Was using another firewall and thought this one had more features. After enabling and whitelisting items, it blocked everything. Even disabling firewall it was still blocking everything. Had to uninstall and reinstall several apps to get my tablet working correctly.

It works. Pity one has to manually start it every time the phone was rebooted. And no way to remove ads!
