MUBI – Stream & Download Films

Cant figure out how to search for a movie. On opening / signing in I see a handful of titles and the only menu visible has browser (which is the same window), account and options.??

Love mubi, great app

Needs a better seeking feature than the scrubbing control. Maybe Forward & Reverse buttons to go 10 seconds in each direction, or the dragging feature that VLC has. It needs this very badly so that I can replay lines of dialogue that I didn't quite catch.

Doesn't give you any option to change the storage and when it runs out the download stops but the chache is still there, occupying space. Besides, I have an internal storage with 4.47GB free, I tried to download a movie of 2.4GB and when it was reaching the 97% downloaded, it stopped and showed a message saying I didn't have free space. (Android's storage data information, on the other hand, showed I had still about 2.5GB of free storage yet.

Decent app but missing some social aspects that the web version has like profiles which makes it harder to find films using it

A stable and easy-to-use app that works well on Chromecast. The curated selection of films is a great way to experience cinema from around the world, and watch films you might not otherwise be exposed to.

Prefer it over the website for it's quick look on movie lengths: discover those great shorts while on the go! Smooth interface too, including a very good Chromecast ability.

Great service for branching out and watching all sorts of films you may never normally encounter!

Lots of people complaining about "old movies"...look if your idea of a good movie is whatever tentpole blockbuster is currently out right now, that's fine. Get netflix. If you like classic and foreign cinema, buy mubi and filmstruck. Mubi for offline downloads and variety and filmstruck for at home viewing and the cannon.

People who don't like this app are probably people who think Transformers and TMNT are the epitome of motion pictures. Movies in MUBI have lower death count... And better accounts...

The films are what signed up for but the app is something else! Downloads just go missing sometimes you can watch them offline often you can't sometimes not even with the internet. Everytime you watch a film it returns to a random point very close to the start. It needs lots of help!

This is a crappie app, do not download. They pick the movies for you to watch, you no choices and they will not cancel the subscription.

Waste of time and memory for stupid movies

30 days trial but no trial to watch, and only few,not much movies, its old movies , i think this kind of movies its time of my late grand grand grandfather, update your movies .

Every movies must have english subtitles, if this can happen..this app is superb!

Films look gorgeous and update is great, but the app still never correctly returns you to the point of the film you left off at if your watching is interrupted. Sometimes it's off by as much as 40 minutes, which is ridiculous. UPDATED VERSION: Still has the above problems.

Mubi is great. Having a film festival worthy piece each day is great. However... I cannot set the app to use the sd card... Having the option to download 4gb files without letting the app use the sd card is kind of useless. /data/user/0/ where the movies are downloaded is a location that won't be migrated to the sd card even if you use adoptable storage and migrate your data. Sad! Hard to understand... ALSO, I receive this moronic message: 'you cannot cast downloaded films from another country' when casting

This app shows one a great list of movies that COULD be watched but aren't. Instead, it allows one to select about 5 playable movies a day. It's not a scam but its website isn't honest either.

app doesnt work at all. cant play it on any device i try it on. even if you try to play off the website it will redirect you to the app which does not work at all. huge waste of time.

Read the reviews before you install any app, you never know what will happen when you open it to find a while bunch of crap

There are a lot of features to be added to this app like search for films, viewing lists and write reviews etc.

You can't even search movies I'm going out of town and I'm 11 this is exactly what I need but it doesn't have kids movies

Why on descriptions you don't write about that subcriptions plan. So we don't wasted time and Space on our tablet or Phone!!! Need to be honest when you write descriptions about your app.

If you are looking for old films then this is for you and you can't even search for any film
