eviivo for Android
The app is awful. Easier and better to just log on using browser. It needs zoom view. Also when clicking the notification of new booking the app opens up on last date looked at instead of the booking just clicked on. Terrible.
Has a tendency to crash (I'm using a note 5 and latest android OS. Also crashes on a note 3.). Useful for showing who is arriving and departing. When it opens it doesn't show the details for guests arriving that day. User needs to select next day or previous day to get details. You can then go back to the previous page (page you saw when you opened app) and it will be populated. Still find i need to open extranet for stuff but it is not mobile friendly.
Won't accept my username? No idea why.
Needs accessibility testing in different font sizes because not all Android users stick with the default font size, they change it via Settings. At present, when viewing app with larger font sizes, text overlaps and is unreadable in many places. The UK has laws about websites needing to be accessible, not sure if this extends to apps too?
Just does not work on my Samsung Galaxy S5, can't access my online bookings....total rubbish.
Eviivo is a terrible system with no control over your own accommodation. avoid.
Have trouble with the notification
Perfect!
Shows available rooms incorrectly when I try to make a booking. Has now started notifying me a booking has been made when the bookings have been made by me which is just a waste of time. Doesn't have a calendar view which is a bit like driving a car with a blacked out windscreen. Only let's me select 00.00 as an arrival time.
Good for our b&b online bookings

I normally don't write negative reviews, but, in this case, I feel I have to be slightly negative! Firstly, I'm giving one star to them just for having an app. I'm giving them a second star for the amount of work they have put into bringing it thus far. After that, though, I'm sorry, but it's negative. In this day and age things have moved on, and we're all busy and constantly on the go. What we needed a computer for a few years ago, we now need to be able to do with our mobile phones. We need to see, in calendar form, who is arriving, who is departing and who is staying with us, on a daily basis. We need to be able to close off a room, or open up an extra room, should there be a need, at the touch of a button. We should be able to go to any day of the year and see this information at a glance. The app just needs to be developed quite a bit to make it useful. At the moment, it actually is quite useless. Sorry!
