Only thing that drives me nuts is how the commercials are literally 3 minutes long! I would have rated it five stars if it weren't for that reason. All of the other tv apps are the same way with the 3 minute commercials... I just think that the app should be better then tv.

Downloading was pointless. I get that this is 2017, but not everybody has cable. If I had cable, I could watch my shows on my tv, and wouldn't need the app. And, judging on the other ratings, I'm not the only one that thinks this is stupid. Thanks for wasting our time, MTV!! Oh, and WAY TO GO at listening to your viewers! Pathetic!

Tons of shows which is great, but even after entering my service provider information, I am flooded with commercials. So much that I actually feel like I'm watching just as many commercials as I am show. Tone it back on the advertising, keeping your viewers entertained should be higher priority than advertising dollars.

The MTV app on my Sony Bravia X850D Android TV is horrible. There are so many commercials and they don't load right. I have gigabit internet so it's not my internet speed. I can stream 4K Amazon Prime or YouTube all day long w/ no buffering, but this app's commercials don't load right. Also, I have to reactivate my TV several times daily to get videos to play because it loses the login info. Additionally many videos dont play because they say 'unavailable due to date 'rights'? What is wrong with MTV's app?

Great app to catch up on all my shows, only unfortunate thing is that the application is constantly glitching and the videos tend to cut out due to media errors. Other than that, awesome. As always, I got away from standard TV to avoid commercials, yet they're still present but hey that's the new age huh?

Thos app is iffy. Sometimes it allows us to watch a show through our chromecast and sometimes it doesn't! It'll say unable to cast.. After like 15 tries it'll work on our phones..however it still won't pull up on our chromecast.

Trash. Everytime I click a show to watch it makes me type in my cable provider.. and then it just says signing in forever until I click out and it never signs into my cable provider and I can't ever watch shows. Don't download such a waste of time!

I unistalled this app. You have to have a cable provider which is dumb and defeats the purpose. I live in a split level home with someone and the cable is in their name and I'm not comfortable asking for their personal info to log in. Really shouldn't be that complicated.

Please do a update.. Make the app different.. In prove it more.. Put more episodes, have ads pop up at anytime just like one of them every now and then in every other episode.. Thats just my opinion on this app.

crashes way to often. if i dont get threw a episode and have to come back i justt go to the next show cause getting to where i was is such a hassel. 50% of the time it says the show is not available? then i try again and it is then after 20 mins it crashes and says its not available anymore. i love this app so i can catch up on my shows but i get very annoyed. fix the bugs and id proudly give this app a 5.

So buggy... Sooo many ads. Never saves place when you pause. Everytime you try to find your spot it loads like 90 seconds of ads each time you seek to try and find your place. Really frustrating. Sucks because they have good content and full seasons - old/new.

If you charged $3.99 for the app with comercial revenue. You guys would make a killing. All shows unlocked...But somehow you guys settle on needing a T.V provider! Cable t.v is a waste of money. It's 2017..Get with the times.

My girlfriend & I enjoy this app as well as the television program; however doesn't MTV stand for music television? We miss music videos and the old school ways of this chamnel. Not ad much reality and more artists but hey im not in show biz, & understand today's way of things like social media and status. Just an opinion is all....

Only downloading for beavis and butthead lol... The constant femanazis on MTV now have totally ruined it. MUSIC TELEVISION!! does anyone remember that? 3 stars for beavis and butthead though!!

Having this app used to be great, now I need to have a viable cable/ satellite provider to watch full episodes. THAT COMPLETELY DEFEATS THE PURPOSE. If I had an account with a satellite provider I would watch my shows on the television.

This app is horrible. It lags and has to be reset constantly. The ads play wonderfully (of course) but when the actual shows are playing, it's awful quality and freezes every 30 seconds to where you have to back out of the app and reset. I have fast internet so that's not the issue either. If you're going to have a "live TV" option and make episodes available, update and fix the bugs to where your app can actually be used for those things. Literally the only real use of the app and it doesn't work.

What takes so long for you to put new episodes on?!?! It's already 4pm and has not been updated today with shows from last night. You usually take way longer than necessary to upload new episodes but this is ridiculous. Get it together.

This app constantly crashes if it works at all. Don't even try to cast it, it rarely works!!

I love this app. However, I'm not giving it 5 starts because it would be nice if they could decrease the amount of ads per episode. Perfect though!

This app always malfunctions. 1 day i can use it the next day it wont give me access.

First off, saying the app is okay was me being nice. There are one, WAY too many adds, and i get why they have adds, they need some way to pay for the app so they have adds, understandable. But are 9 100 second add breaks in one 30-40 minute show really necessary? Secondly, if I had a dime for everytime this app crashed on me, or said "having technical difficulties please try again later" I would be FILTHY rich. It crashes SO much I end up having to deal with the app crashes more than I actually watch shows.

Terrible! Everytime I try to sign up it will not let me RIDICULOUS do not install.

Too many commercials. The show can be 40 mins long but there is about 30 mins extra of commercials. I understand you have to gave them but each commercial break is about 2 to 3 mins long. It's just too much.

Love watching all my favorite MTV shows on demand. It does crash quite often, but not enough to not use the app.

Wouldn't even let me sign in with my tv provider. It always froze at that part. Never got to watch one show. A waste of a download!

The watch live TV feature sucks ass trying to watch the new challenge and I get stupid as Friends not challenge I tuned in at 9pm on the dot and been checking for the Last 20 min wtf and now nothing is playing total bs....it's 2/14/17 and all the update recently have fixed the problem I'm having ...

This app crashes Everytime a commercial comes on during an episode. I have to go to my settings every commercial and force stop the app just to watch. Takes me 2 hours to watch a 40 minute show. Plus, commercials are too long.

It's okay but very buggy whenever I try to login to my cable provider it freezes on logging in, so I can't watch all the episodes

New shows should be uploaded first thing the next day. Mtv can be lax updating new material. Other then that i love this app

When playing episodes instead of continuing to the next episode it goes backwards. It's pretty annoying. Other than that it's a great app

I really hate all the commercials and the fact that the same commercial comes on over and over again. But other than that, awesome app.

Your programs have a lot to be desired for there's too many breaks in the movie as you're watching it it stops and keeps rebooting rebooting reloading it just doesn't not stay connected to the internet the problems need to be fixed so that you can watch the movie from beginning to end with whatsoever I hope you understand this message fix it I don't ask for much of how it's supposed to be or what I think

Why cant i watch episodes if i dont have a tv provider ?? I mean i downloaded the app it means i can see whats in it !!! I really wanna watch my fav shows but i dont have a tv provider

The app claims it is compatible for chromecast but never works when I try to cast. Infuriating

App is great when it works. Really struggles with Chromecast. Constant skipping, requires restarts after most episodes as it loses chromecast.

This app sucks i just wante to watch tv on my phone AND THE SHOWS ARE ALL LOCKED

I love having access to the shows I watch. The only complaint I have is that they play the same 5 commercials over and over and over again.
