WHAT DOES THE APP DO ?

Never worry about losing your contacts and calendar items again!

Have you ever thought about how much trouble it is, to get back hundreds of work and family contacts because you forgot your phone in a restaurant? Or how sad you would be, to lose forever this unique phone number of your future wife?

MTN Save my contacts mobile application allows you to back up your phone contacts, notes, tasks and calendar events. Data backed up are available on a web portal (www.mtnsavemycontacts.cm) and can be easily recovered or transferred in case of phone loss or phone change.

You can also synchronize your SIM contacts with MTN Save my contacts web portal if your SIM card includes MTN Save my contacts SIM card application (Visit the nearest MTN retail shop to buy a new SIM card in case your SIM card is not enabled for the service)

HOW TO USE THE APP ?

Once you have downloaded MTN Save my contacts mobile application, launch it and click on backup to back up your handset data or click on restore to restore your handset data. Your data will be automatically backed up on a monthly (every 30 days) basis starting from the day of your first backup. You can stop the automatic backup at any time by sending STOP to 8757

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST ?

You can download MTN Save my contacts for free but you will have to pay to back up your data. Find the cost of data backup at: www.mtn.cm/portal/mtnsavemycontacts

RESTORATION / MIGRATION

If you change your phone or if your phone is stolen, just install MTN save my contacts mobile application on your new phone and restore your data on it.
